I have never heard of this brand before but assume that they are relatively new to the smartphone business. From what I can tell they have launched three models, the A07, A09 and A10. Looking at the specs for all three they seem to be very similar and the pricing doesn't vary much which is a little confusing. This review is for the A09. Upon opening the box I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality, weight and feeling in hand. It's far from the most premium out in the market, but kinda reminds me of a Motorola or LG phone from 5 years ago. It's mainly plastic but that helps with the weight. The back has a matte finish and I wouldn't say it's a fingerprint magnet. It's quite nicely finished with the branding printed on the bottom corner. Setup is exactly what you'd expect from an Android phone. This is running Android 12 which is quite behind the curve now. Once you connect to wifi or your mobile network you just need to log into your Google account and that's it. The connectivity seems fine, though this is a 4G phone and not 5G. It also only works with GSM networks, so if you have AT&T or Verizon you can forget it. The screen is HD+ and it shows, it's not the sharpest but colors look vibrant and it's not a bad experience at all. The viewing angles are surprisingly pretty good. It's not that bright so not ideal for viewing outside in bright light. That said, given the extremely low price tag you can't really complain. The screen size is 6.56" and I find it easy enough to use with one hand. There is a side fingerprint sensor and it works fine though it's not the fastest to respond. The A09 has a 4000mAh battery which is comparable to a lot of smartphones. It states that it's quick charge but i'm not sure how quick. I have charged it once since receiving it but it seemed to be a lot slower that I expected. It took about 75 minutes to charge from 10% to 100%. I used an older Samsung charger I had so maybe I need to use the cable and brick that came with the phone. The cameras are the worst part of this phone. Really not good at all. There seems to be an issue with focus and tapping on the subject doesn't seem to do anything. Images taken at night or in a darker environment are bad. I think for the price, this phone might be a suitable first smartphone for a young teen or as an emergency backup, but I would see most people finding the cameras a major detractor.

I have 2 of these, one purchased in Feb 2025, the other June 2025. The first has issues with the backlight and wifi needs to be really strong to connect. The other has a swelling battery and there is nowhere that I can find to get a replacement. Contacting manufacturer is pointless as they do not return communications.

I got this for my tween year olds to have a phone available when they get home from school since nobody has a land-line these days but yet they also want to text their friends. Unfortunately it comes installed with a ton of social media apps, that I don't really want them to have. Good news if you can't get tiktok currently, it does have that available, but I am concerned about what els emight be installed so if you don't like bloatware, give it a full wipe before using. Speed is adequate for texting and calling, we will see how well it holds up to the abuse of tween boys.
