Having never used a Smart phone I bought this. But the smart folks that sent it failed to include a User Guide. Needless to say after emails and calls to India, I still don't have a user guide. Finally sent it back to Amazon, The c cameras never did work. Couln't get permissions loaded so they could be used. Not smart enough for a Smart phone with no User Guide.

I like the way the phone looks (cause its purple) BUTTTTTT the fingerprint barely works with or without the phone case that comes with it. The face unlock barely works. The phone has glitched and I just got it like a 1-2 weeks ago. I got this phone because it was supposed to be unlocked and it is not. It says T-mobile acceptable but its not. I can text and make calls thats it and sometimes that a problem. Can not get on the internet without wifi. That sucks!!! This was suppose to be my BYOP through Standup Wireless through T-Mobile.

Edit: I got a faulty phone, my wifi stopped working completely and they refunded me. Odds are I was just unlucky and my previous issues were hardware related. I gave them a higher rating because they made it right without issues or returns. Old review: Good phone, but will not connect to free internet spots at some stores, weak compared to every phone I have bought internet wise. The lockscreen wallpaper will not change. I have had no issues with the 12 or so androids I have bought in the past. It keeps the default wallpapers. The phone is a little blocky and feels weird in my hand.

This is an underpowered, extremely basic entry level phone that prioritizes cost over all else. If you're looking for a primary phone to use as your main communications device, I don't think this is the answer: the processor it's powered by is old and incredibly slow, and you can feel the lag with even simple operations on the device without multitasking. Even basic web browsing is a challenge. While I find this difficult to recommend for use as a daily driver phone, that might not be what you're looking for - you might need an emergency backup device or be looking for a fleet phone to use as part of a commercial install. For that, this might be more viable. If you're going to be running a specific kiosk application where you can fine-tune the performance to work, the actual hardware here is pretty okay! The screen is bright and vibrant, and the case is appropriately thin and modern-feeling; nobody's going to mistake this for an iPhone, but for the price it's surprisingly solid. I appreciate that both a case and a screen protector are provided, since this is a pretty unusual phone that would otherwise be difficult to source those items for. The camera works, and there are plenty of cameras provided, but I honestly wish they'd focused on fewer, better options - the results I got were middling at best, far below even 5 year old flagship devices. Entry level phones from major manufacturers have far surpassed what this is capable of, I'm afraid, but if you just need to scan QR codes or such in an industrial application, it should be fine for that. Note that the radio is 4G LTE only, although you do get dual sim support and an unlocked radio. Again, this is a case where it should be fine for fleet use, but for a personal phone you'll probably want 5G support at this point. Battery life is pretty good, and the 4500mAh capacity should get most people through a full day. I initially rated this three stars for personal use and I think I stand by that rating, but the more I contemplate the value proposition here it does feel like a higher rating is deserved for the overall package and I ended up nudging my overall stars to four - this isn't a bad phone and there aren't any glaring flaws other than the speed, but it's not the right device for most people when a name brand Moto G series phone is available for only $25-75 more depending on model with a processor that's almost twice as capable.
