Coming from a devoted Laura Mercier translucent setting powder user.... I LOVE THIS SETTING POWDER. If you are debating between the two... here is my advice as a person who had originally oily skin that is now normal - dry due to accutane. If your skin is oily - this product may not be for you. It is a super fine and soft powder that feels less tight and not as drying as the laura mercier.. but i find it to lay on my skin better. If your skin is normal to dry - This is the product for you. The particles are so fine that they lay on your face like a cloud. I literally just dust is over my entire face with a big kabuki brush over my it cosmetics cc cream and VOI LA ! "perfect" skin. NO FLASHBACK - DOESN'T SETTLE INTO LINES - seriously don't be discouraged from trying this powder. Laura Mercier who? The only con - SO MUCH OF THE PRODUCT COMES OUT. Seriously its so fine that it comes out easily and sometimes poofs in the air like a cloud. I just realized that since its a lighter powder - i need to be more gentle with my technique of taking it out. ... show more

Best setting powder I've ever used! I just purchased my second one (4 months of using this product everyday)! I live in Florida and this sets my foundation with ease and it lasts all day! I also have fair skin so finding a pressed powder and setting powder that doesn't leave a line almost impossible so I use this for both and it's awesome. My skin is smooth and foundation is set. No issues with cracking or making my wrinkles look worse. It is SUPER silky and applies very easily. ... show more

Used this and lock it spray for years, game chamger my makeup lasts through swimming sweating. Most anything. As a full coverage girly I can't imagine using anything else.

    • I have struggled with acne since the fifth grade due to some hormone issues and Kat Von D products (Lock-It Foundation + this setting powder) are the only products that haven't made my acne worse.
This powder sets my foundation perfectly, and lasts FOREVER. I apply makeup almost every day and I've used this product for maybe 9-10 months now and I've only had to buy it twice, with one of those purchases being the first time I ever bought it. Definitely worth the price you pay.
