I've had this mousepad for over a year, so here's what I think. First, the pros. The mousepad works well, giving my mouse a smooth surface to move on. The material feels nice and doesn't seem cheap, which is great for the price. It's also pretty tough, barely showing any wear even after a year of daily use. Now, the cons. Sometimes, it feels uncomfortable for my arms, especially if I use it for a long time, like during gaming or homework. This might be because it's a bit thin and doesn’t have much padding. This is just my issue and doesn't bug me a lot, but it might be something to consider if you use your mousepad. The design is simple and looks good on my desk without taking up too much space. It stays put and doesn’t slide around, which is super important. It's also easy to clean – I throw it in the washer on delicate with cool water, and it looks great. Overall, I think this mousepad is great. It's an awesome deal for the price because it does its job well and lasts a long time. The package arrived right on time and in perfect condition. The box the mat came in was well designed it -- good fit and good protection. When I unrolled it, I was surprised to find it went pretty much TOTALLY FLAT right away. Nice! As far any odor goes, right out of the box it was VERY minimal and I didn't even notice. It didn't even occur to me to sniff it until it'd been here for a couple days. At that point, I actually had to put my nose very close to the mat to smell any rubber odor at all. When I remember, I'll put the mat in the sun for a couple hours to accelerate any additional out-gassing... even though "my nose says" there is no real need. Initially I thought the pad made my MX3 Master feel draggy and slow. Now that could be because I've been using a bare maple butcher-block table for years. hahahahaha! Of course that's the reason! After about one day of use, I was more familiar with the feel on the mat and I have come to like it a lot My only complaint is something that I'm sure is unavoidable: the nicely stitched edge is thicker and more firm than the mat itself. The ONLY place that's a problem is where my right wrist or forearm rests across it. It's not a huge problem at its worst, and it was easy to remedy by having the mat extend over the table a tiny bit on the bull-nosed edge that's close to me. The thicker seam area can then drop down a tiny, tiny bit (like 3mm) and it's then totally below the surface of the rest of the mat. As a bonus, it makes the entire edge of the table feel good that way, too. Next time I may get a mat that's 15.7 inches instead of 11.8 inches. (Perfect for my use would be about 14 inches from front to back. But 11.8 is not leaving me wanting.) Overall, excellent quality and very reasonable price! Thumbs up! What is there to say about an all black desk pad? This one is exactly as advertised, matching the dimensions and color described by the seller. It unrolled and laid flat easily, and the surface is a nice quality/texture. It's a slightly more slick surface than my previous Razer mouse pad.
