I didn't expect much at this price but it has exceeded expectations. It laid flat within a couple of days and no overwhelming oder - all oder dissipated within 2 days. I wasn't expecting much based on the price I paid for this XL mat, but clearly I was wrong! This is a high quality mat that is a great size for my desk. It gives me plenty of room to mouse around for games and work alike. The rubbery bottom works very well and the mat doesn't move around. The top surface is very smooth but still provides enough friction for comfortable mousing. Overall, this product is pretty good for the price, but I was pretty disappointed I received mine with a giant crease in the middle of the pad. When I received this, this was rolled up like a poster, but when I unrolled it, the crease was pretty visible. I'm trying to flatten it out with something heavy, but it's not looking like it's gonna go back flat Update Nov 16, 2022: The KTRIO support team reached out to me and offered to replace the product. As my original review mentioned, I was pleased with the product and thought it was pretty good for the price. These huge gaming mouse mats are great. They would make for a great desk covering even without a mouse in sight. I have three and they see fairly harsh treatment, but a quick wipe of a damp cloth and they clean up brilliantly. If you have cats - keep them away. It's definitely water resistant, if i have a soda or something and lil condensation drops fall down, they don't soak into the mat. The mouse pad also doesn't move around easily. My only complaint (which has no bearing on the product itself) is that my monitor sits far enough from me comfortably right about where the mousepad ends, so it's a little wobbly if I'm not careful lol. ... show more

This is one of those products that is far nicer than the price suggests. Very soft. Well made. Extremely comfortable. Great surface for the mouse. That said, it's just a big mouse pad. I ultimately went for a more premium experience, but I would definitely stick with this one if a big, well-made mouse pad was what I wanted. Tip: The "x-large" version at 11.8 inches is just a little too narrow for typical mouse motion if, for instance, you're swinging windows across multiple screens all day.
