  • Arrived in tact earlier than expected
Guitar arrived intact and fully functional. I re-ordered this one from same seller as previous one arrived with a defective selector switch. I purchased same model, same seller earlier but had to return as guitar had a defective switch. This model has great tone and features.. finish is super.. and very light weight. With it's 5-position PU selector switching capability provides a very versatile guitar. Good sustain. Seller is praiseworthy also as return was processed quickly.. no hassle. This "low end" guitar is a good value with unexpected quality. I found it to be a good blues guitar for it's sustain. One thing I could not live with.. the middle pickup.. so I replaced it with higher resistance single coil PU rated at 7.5 ohms.... a $10 PU, (here on Amazon.. black, single coil type) and wow, it really gives a richer tone in the 2nd and 4th switch positions: each blends the middle with either neck or bridge PU accordingly. The other PU's sound great in neck, both, or bridge positions anyway but the stock middle PU was a little too weak for my blues playing. Now each of the 5 switch positions produce it's own unique tone in their selected position. The replacement PU doesn't alter the middle (combined) sound.. just the single coil addendum in 2nd and 4th switch positions. The replacement PU adds a better "flavor" than the stock PU to country or blues. ... show more

  • With a little love it will work
Color: Upgrade-Matte Back
I only have had this guitar for a few days but so far it is an amazing little guitar. I got the Matt Black version First of shipping was fast, I got it in 3 days. The guitar came well packaged in a large foam box inside. It came included with a crappy gig bag, a braided guitar cable that is 6 ft long, hex wrenches for saddles and truss rod, a guitar pick that is roughly .90 mm thick, a crappy but usable capo, a really really crapy awful guitar strap, and of course the guitar. The guitar has a strong smell, but a nice C-shape neck that fits well in your hand but the protruded heel makes it a bit awkward to reach the higher frets (I file it down to make it more comfortable to play, do it if you feel comfortable doing so though), all pickups and knobs and switch work well not humming or other noises when plugged in. The guitar came with 10 gauge guitar strings, but I switched them out for some 10 gauge Ernie ball slinky paradigm stings. Now the frets do require some work on them, I found a few high and low frets, so a fret-level job might be in order (I did mine myself so only do it if you have the necessary tools and confidence to do it yourself), after looking online of how to set up the tremolo system (it was pretty easy) I got the guitar up and running flawlessly. I was able to set the guitar action to 1.3 mm on the treble side and 1.7 mm on the bass side at the 12 fret, any lower and I got a bit of buzzing, the nut action was good out of the box but I was able to lower it to a bit below 0.5 mm at the 1st fret in both sides. And intonation is great once set up right. and the whammy bar/ tremolo arm works well enough the capo is a bit twisted for me it's like the lower jaw goes to the side a bit, but it is strong and holds down the string well, if you can I recommend beveling the corners to make it go from a rectangular rubber pad to a trapezoid by using a sharp box knife or something. The guitar cable is great no complaints, The gig bag is awful, it might protect it against dust but that is about it, there is no padding or anything to protect the guitar. The guitar strap is also awful, it immediately started fraying/ threads started coming loose. The pick is a pick no complaints, all in all, it is a good guitar if you can give it a good setup and fret level I would recommend this to any new beginner guitarist who wants to get a nice looking cheap guitar to start off. ... show more

  • Go ahead and buy it
Color: White
Guitar looks amazing, neck shape is great, no sharp frets, was pretty good sounding and playing right out the box. Pretty minimal set up, polished frets, oiled fret board, couple minor saddle adjustments, new strings and it plays like my Ibanez. Really impressed with this guitar at this price point.

  • Electric Guitar
Color: Black
Poor quality in workmanship. Frets aren't finished, they cut your fingers. BACK of guitar NECK IS HORRIBLE, the finish coat is all rough. Electric switch for the pickups is WIRED WRONG. INSTEAD OF SELLING THIS CHEEP, they should of SPARED THEIR NAME FROM DISGRACE, AND BURNT IT.
