The overall build of this kit sucks. The legs are not stable at all. The mesh heads are semi decent. The weird extra arm for the snare is a ridiculous design. There's no real way to adjust the height. I'm sure this would be great as long as your 4ft tall. I give a total thumbs down. Waste of money.

I would give 5 stars, if the cymbols and drum pads were "dual zoned" as described in description. The only dual zone pad was the snare drum.. the rest are not.. i don't know if i was sent the wrong drum kit or what... but very easy to use, sound quality is good, functionality is great, and size is adjustable as described as well.

I love this drum set, its good for beginners, only issue I’ve had is that one of the crash symbols doesn't work unfortunately and i cannot find where to get/request a replacement cymbal by itself, the rest of the system works besides the physical cymbal itself and I've since gotten rid of the boxes, otherwise good product. (Edit)-i lowered from 4 stars to 3 star, I’d raise it to 5 stars if Ktaxon hits me up to send a new cymbal or even just sends me a link to buy a new cymbal alone as Ive been unable to find any, but its rare nowadays to get responses so I've just ordered a Donner cymbal to replace it

I wanted to get back into drumming, but where I'm at I can't have a big bulky electronic set. Also, can't have a giant AND loud acoustic set. It's an unfortunate reality in a tiny space. SO. Having a smaller set available made me jump on it right away. I've rocked on these for a few weeks now, and can attest to the quality for the price. They have held up very well after days of beating them up, they're quite durable. I think they'll hold up a few more years until I upgrade. They're simple, but you get a great cache of sounds. I feel myself getting back into the groove. They connect easily to my computer, and I can monitor them with headphones, and everything I've recorded from them has been solid! With some tweaking and know-how, you can get more out of it than what's in the box, you just have to know your software.

I ordered this electric Drum set for my family, all of whom really love to play. What drew me to the Ktaxon was the ability to plug in speakers, record tracks, accessories and the ease of use & ability to quickly fold it and move it/travel with it. We were really impressed with how well the product was labeled in the box. Each part had its own part that was appropriately labeled. That made set up really easy and pretty quick. Having the stool, headphones, drumsticks and chord ties included is great help and really made this whole set plug & play out of the box.We like how adjustable the set is from our youngest to the adults in both drum layout/height etc. The entire set is not heavy but not too light either. It is sturdy but just the weight to make it easy enough to move it if/when needed. We really like that as this has already moved from the play/music area to our family area for impromptu concerts at home. The quality of this set is great! It has held up really well with 4 people playing it daily. The kids love coming home and creating their own tracks/beats and that makes me happy to see them excited to just jam. I also love that I don’t have to listen to it all the time so that is when they put the headphones on vs. using the speakers. It also has built in songs, coach button, metronome, good volume control etc. The compact set has been great for our family and I am happy to recommend you keep this on your list if you are looking at electronic drum sets coming in at competitive price points.
