First of all there was a problem with the original purchase but the seller is just fantastic to correct the issue I received a replacement promptly and the replacement is perfect it's a beautiful very inexpensive acoustic Bass and decent gigable electronics sound I enjoy playing this worthy bass guitar. Preamplifier EQ , it's got bridge piezo electronics and a decent preamplifier. I substituted the plastic saddle for a brass saddle generic 6 string guitar and the intonation held very close and generates a gorgeous tone. The strings are nothing to brag about to say the least they're cheapies but here is the hack I'm going to share with you all you have to do is flatten the underside of the strings with a diamond flat file be very careful not to scratch any frets and keep the guitar tuned and under tension when you do this. Then go one more pass to the underside of the strings where they touch the frets, with very fine rouge grit. I like to use those multigrit fingernail Emery boards. Voila poor Man's flat wound strings. Plays like butter. BTW the materials are sturdy and the truss rod is functional and the plek will shape up to excellent string clearance. The frets could use a good polish and if you really wanted to you could replace the nut but the nut seems to be adequate it's a graph tech knock off. ... show more

While the bass itself was okay quality (the strings aren't the greatest) the customer service was amazing and helped me resolve any issues I had while playing the bass. Would highly recommend this bass because of the customer service, will definitely be buying from them again in the future.

Smaller size acoustic bass, well made for the money! Spruce top, standard hardware for price range, plastic nut and bridge. Plugs in and plays well, on-board electronic pickup functions through the full range of tones clearly. Neck straight but set up is high after 7th fret, can easily be remedied by trimming the bridge in 15 minutes. The bag is worthless except to keep dust off, so pick up a cheap padded gig bag. It arrived very well packed and undamaged. Happy to recommend it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Shocked at the quality for the buck. If you look super closely at the finish you will spot imperfections but it really looks pretty good. Out of the box it plays hard but of you put on decent strings and file the nut you can easily make this a great playing bass. It doesn't produce a ton of sound without the amp be no acrostic bass does, that just how sound Waves work. ... show more

I never leave reviews but this Bass nice, especially for the price. It plays really well and seems well made. There's a preamp that takes a 9volt battery and has an equalizer built into it. The equalizer works really well and allows for a variety of tones. Mine came with a strap and a gig bag. The bag is kind of thin, but it will keep the dust off it and keep it from being scratched. This is a great guitar for the price. It sounds good, the frets feel good, no sharp edges. It works well plugged in or acoustic. The strap that comes with it is terrible, but that's just nitpicking. The case is okay, but you will likely want to replace it as well. Nevertheless, I highly recommend the bass itself. ... show more
