I've used Krylon to coat beach chairs scrubbed of rust, and treated, various outdoor projects, and game modeling. If you have a big surface area it adheres well. If you make game boards and terrain, you'll find that it offers it great base layer to paint over. The dark red offers rust effects, orange for traffic or emergency colors, gray as a de facto primer. It works so well that I left some cardboard and foam models outside overnight. Rain poured while I slept. When I went outside to retrieve my ruined work I discovered everything intact. Water had beaded and there was no warping on materials that typically pulp or disintegrate in the rain. A pleasant surprise. One caveat: Be smart. Use this outside or at least keep your garage door open. You shouldn't inhale these fumes. Try to time your work to sunny, weather-friendly days that let the fumes evaporate more quickly and wear some kind of mask. ... show more

I can't speak for if this paint comes in the exact color you hoped for but I do know it comes in white and black. If you can find the color you want in this paint, then I would encourage you to purchase it. It easily covers a previous color or gives excellent coverage for a new project. I prefer to do a quick, light spray coat of paint, give it time to dry and follow it up with a heavier, even coat. I have bought more expensive, so called premium spray paint and ended up with sub-par results and frustration. This is my favorite spray paint and do recommend it to everyone. Great price, excellent coverage and amazing results. Plus, it is great for indoor and outdoor projects. Most of my projects are outside ones, and I’m always happy with the durability of this paint and how easily it adheres to every surface I have sprayed it on. We have two George Kovacs MCM sconces with curved glass shades. Years ago, we replaced the shades because the interior surface material flaked off the glass. They originally came with halogen bulbs, which we replaced with LED bulbs. One internet DIY showed making a rice paper covering glued to the glass shade interior. Looking closely at the glass, we decided they were painted, and the high heat of the halogen bulbs caused the paint to deteriorate. We couldn't find replacement shades last month. Since we had kept the old defective glass shades, we decided to experiment with paint. We sprayed two coats, and the paint has adhered to the glass really well. You can't tell the repaired shade from the original when the light fixtures are turned on or off. We are thrilled with the result! ... show more

There were a few bikes I ordered for my bike that I couldn't get in satin carbon, including some small pieces like the heel guards. I used this after lightly and uniformly roughing up the matte pieces with some 0000 steel wool and they now look just like the satin pieces.
