    • A few Things To Consider before making your Portable/Compact Clothes Washer purchase!

While I'm generally a careful buyer, thinking things out and researching products first, I still wound up buying several portable / compact clothes washers before getting here; maybe I can help you avoid doing the same. Portable/compact washers come in a variety of configurations and features; some options/choices are pretty up-front and obvious- but some are not. Planning to use mine at work and in my small camping trailer I was mainly focused on compact size, low water & power usage, a strong spin-dry, and of course doing a good job of cleaning. This first led to purchase of a machine with a separate spin/wash tub with emphasis on it's having 2 motors and a drain pump vs. gravity drain. #1- If it's a 2-tub machine it's semi-automatic and likely no water valve control. #2- Including a drain pump is better than none, but even the best of them is more of an "assist"- not very aggressive. Time moving loads between tubs was not an issue- manual water control for wash, then rinse, then during spin was. Moving into a single tub, full automatic was a much better choice for me. Auto valve-controlled water input more like a traditional full-size machine is a real plus, as is the digital control with multiple wash setting options. While I was left a bit skeptical at first about purchase of a unit with a name like "Krib Bling", I shouldn't have been; this machine has performed extremely well right from the start. No leaks, no function errors, no problems with operation at all. Even better- the Krib Bling machine is very pleasantly quiet running in all phases of operation. For myself, there's only 2 areas of shortcoming from being ideal; one probably resolved in future models, with the other no doubt improved: 1. Addition of an intermittent water spray during the spin cycle would be nice; maybe not included here due potential of unbalancing operation, and haven't found this included with any other portable machines, either. 2. While just 38 lb. it's a little cumbersome to move around frequently. Placement and size of the hand grip areas could improve the portability, but they're certainly not a downfall as is. Overall, the 17.7 lb capacity Krib Bling Fully Automatic Portable Washer has proven to be the right choice for my needs, and has surpassed all other portables I have found! ... show more

Quiet machine that seems to wash and wring the clothes out well. I bought for my basement rental apt. The only thing that has been an issue is that it does not fully drain all the water out of the unit. Even after I turned it upside down, there is still water inside sloshing around. The water is not in the hose but somewhere inside the washer itself. ... show more

This machine is great! It gets my clothing very clean, it’s very portable, and easy to put away when done. It’s relatively quiet and durable. I am very happy with this purchase!! 🙂💕 UPDATE-->8-MONTH Comments: I have really enjoyed having this portable machine in my home. Over time, however, the seam near the bottom of the shell of the machine where there is blue tape (my machine was originally delivered with this blue tape that I decided to leave in place) has began to separate and leak. I imagine the adhesive of the tape is wearing out and water is seeping through the seam. I have removed and replaced the tape with duct tape and so far no leaking. Of course, I didn't know about this early on. I still enjoy the machine but am removing one of the stars. When I received the machine, I had thought it was used based on how it was packaged and the fact that water was in the drain tube. The seller, however, assured me it was new. Now I'm going with my gut and determining that it was used and returned. Can't be too careful, I guess. ... show more

I had purchased another brand and all it did was just move water around. I might as well have done it with my hands. Then I purchased this. It washes, drains, refills, washes, spins, etc. I can see all the dirt coming out of my clothes as it empties. It works! Downsides are the lint filter doesn't do anything. Second is that the tube that comes to hook up is not long nor is the power cord, so I had to get an extension cord. Also, the adapter works for a kitchen sink but the issue I had with that was I had no place to drain this and ended up making a mess. I went to the hardware store and got an adapter for the shower and it drips a little but works just fine. The learning curve was learning what the display meant and timing the filling cycle for putting in the fabric softener which is at 13 minutes btw. Great machine. Great price now. It's $60 cheaper than when I bought it so it's a steal. ... show more
