Just got the sink and took it out of the box to take a look at it! Sink looks great for a flat black paint color! Personally I rather of had a shiny finish but didn’t find a shiny finish sink I could buy? But did get a flat black faucet to match as well as a flat black basket to install in the sink and a garbage disposal basket for the other side of the sink. Do least everything will match! Now I just got to get busy and get this installed in the kitchen sink cabinet! Of course I had to make things more difficult for myself buying a smart faucet to put in this sink! But the faucet has all the functions of a sprayer or running tap water in the same faucet and no need for another hole in the sink to add another sprayer this way! Plus this faucet is a hands free set up that you can turn on/off just by a wave of your hand. Hopefully that will be a nice feature we won’t want to live without after we start using it? Also got a 1 1/2 HP garbage disposal to put on the smaller side of the sink. Which is another upgrade from the under powered garbage disposal that was on the old sink. Which the old disposal stopped working and that’s what started this whole project! 😂 sink will look way better than the cabinet’s it’s going into! Anything an improvement for now! If I had new cabinets built I would of added pictures. Maybe in the future I’ll get the cabinets built and installed so I can show off the sink then!

I (novice) installed this sink last week. It is a high quality sink. I am very happy with the results! Just a helpful warning, since the drainers are NOT in the center, be prepared to make PVC adjustments under the sink if your drainers are originally centered. Also, this sink was deeper than my original sink (the purpose of my purchase), so that also required PVC pipe modifications too.

I purchased this Kraus sink to replace and older stained cast iron one. The colour, texture and stone appearance caught my attention and installed, it looks great! The colour is very close to the pictures the company posts and I am glad for that as it will hide stains better than the light grey one I had before. The Kraus sink is much lighter than the older one and that made it easy to install (I was able to do it by myself). I also appreciated the pre-marked holes on the underside for accessories (which I used two of them, in addition to the main faucet hole that was pre-drilled). The instructions say you need a 1-3/8" diamond hole saw to cut out the additional holes but it's actually pre-cut for a 1-1/4" hole saw -- just beware of that.

Great sink, easy to clean, will last for a long time. I installed the gray color version as a drop in to replace a 20 year old cast iron sink in a butcher block counter top. The sink includes raised tabs around the flange with holes in each for using metal tabs to secure the sink to the counter top. Several of the raised tabs did not have holes and several of the tabs had malformed holes. The tabs are absolutely useless, don't use them, use a bead of silicone caulk between the counter and the sink flange. I find it amazingly stupid that a sink mfg would recommend securing a drop in sink using this method. In my situation the sink fit fine in the existing opening however the raised tabs prevented the flange from sitting flush to the counter top. Since enlarging the hole in this countertop was not viable, I used a grinder with tile cutting wheel to easily cut the raised tabs flush to the flange. Update May 26, 2024: After less than one year of use a white film has appeared over a large portion of the sink due to degredation of the resin. Once the resin in this sink begins to break down it leaves a white haze that no amount of cleaning will remove. Another poor quality 3rd party product.

So kitchen sinks are usually stainless or white. Aside from being dull, they do show wear over time. This is my second granite composite sink and I love it. It's grey, shows no dirt, and is effectively indestructible. It also fits in perfectly with my IKEA grey kitchen cabinets and quartz countertop. Very stylish and rugged. This sink is also incredibly deep, making it perfect for cleaning your major cooking pots and such. The offset allows for one really large washing sink as well as the secondary. One note of caution. Because of their texture, these sinks can be harder to clean up grease from. Not too hard, but not as smooth as steel. Also I can only guess from the time the plumber was here how easy this is to install. Did not do it myself. But the fact that it has 4 designated cutouts for faucets, knobs, and soap makes it very flexible (cutouts that are not used are only visible from below. The surface is very solid (I used only one for my faucet.)
