I made my daughter swing with this about 20 times. Explained to her how to swing where it won't throw her around as much. Took it off and she had her biggest hit we've ever seen. Maybe it's just coincidence, but it was funny to see. Her swing seems a bit quicker now with a slightly different path. Seems a bit pricey but so are camwood bats.

I am 5’ 8” 180lbs and swing 25.5oz end load or 26oz balanced bat. After swinging and training with it I can easily move up to a 27oz bat with no problem. I can eventually move up to a 28oz and probably have the same bat speed I had before I started training with the Krato Bat Weight. I hope this helps anyone in the market for the Krato Bat Weight. My 14 used the Krato weight for the first time last night. Took a few swings to get used to the weight. After taking a couple of rounds with the weight on he went back in without the weight and hit 5 hard hit balls in a row. Looking back at me after each hit with a smile on his face. Worth the investment. Also the company has excellent customer service.

This weight is a good idea, in theory. I have purchased camwood bats for my nephews to use in practice. The extra weight around the handle is much better than swinging a traditional donut weight towards the cap of the bat. I opened the weight for the first time yesterday to place on my nephew’s bat. When I took the second screw out, the rubber coating came with it. The rubber covering will definitely peel off soon. If I trim the excess rubber, the metal weight structure will be exposed. Once the rubber covering comes off, the metal weight will scratch up the bat. Since I had already opened everything, we went ahead and used the weight to practice. The screws are heavy duty enough to use the weight while hitting. It’s necessary to retighten each screw after contact. The product might be worth the money if defect free.

First weight never made it to us. Package said delivered but nowhere to be found. Contacted seller and they immediately shipped another out. Got it in two days and was already in the cages with it. Great tool, kids love it and it really puts the weight where they can feel the difference in their swing without overloading it on the knob or at end of bat. Will buy more.
