Got this for my 10 year old son. After one session of tee work we saw a noticeable difference in his bat speed. He’s been using it for a couple of weeks now and the improvement has definitely shown up in games and practice. Probably going to get my younger son to work with it as well.

Personally, for myself I use the Cam Wood training bats, single hand and normal 33". I was looking for something similar for my 6 yo, he's in farm coach pitch. He likes to cast his hands and we need to break that habit. I couldn't find anything similar to Cam Wood bats for his age, something a little less than 26". His daily gamer is a 26" (chokes a little so ~25") drop 11 and the 10 oz Krato is perfect for him. I imagine he'll stay w the 10 oz version for a few more years. We just went through 2 buckets of tee work and I'm already seeing results. Obviously no puck knob weighted like the Cam Wood but being able to adjust the Krato closer to the hands is good enough. Initial impressions.. the quality is A+. The red part is rubber so it won't scratch the bat or slide down the neck. Screw knobs to tighten and loosen is nice and big. Not sure if I would take live pitching with it. Maybe if it was mounted securely around the grip. I'm definitely getting a heavier version for myself. Note, I have a 4 yo in teeball and won't be using the Krato for him. It would be too heavy.

We haven't used this product enough (yet) to know if it's truly working, but it is as advertised. It forces your kid to keep their hands in and swing faster once they go back to their lighter bat. It's easy to use and put together, also.

Used the product, and after four swings, I made contact with the ball, and then the screw knob flew off the weight. Right now, I cannot get it off the bat without damaging the threads or even my bat!

My 14 used the Krato weight for the first time last night. Took a few swings to get used to the weight. After taking a couple of rounds with the weight on he went back in without the weight and hit 5 hard hit balls in a row. Looking back at me after each hit with a smile on his face. Worth the investment. Also the company has excellent customer service.

Nice design but not practical. My son brings the bat all the way around and the screws on the weight keeps hurting him on the recoil. I should have tried it out earlier before the return window closed!

First weight never made it to us. Package said delivered but nowhere to be found. Contacted seller and they immediately shipped another out. Got it in two days and was already in the cages with it. Great tool, kids love it and it really puts the weight where they can feel the difference in their swing without overloading it on the knob or at end of bat. Will buy more.
