Thought this was going to be a great Christmas present, and first sewing machine for my preteen. It is all right that’s why I will give it a three star, but don’t recommend due to it being cheaply made some parts we had to tape it.

It’s a wee bit clunky, but I believe the extra clunk translates into sewing power, which I can definitely appreciate. I haven’t had a chance to actually make anything yet, but the test run went well. The main reason I think this machine is a cut above is competitors is the reverse stitch feature, which functions well—this a sewing machine necessity for me! My daughter purchased this to teach herself to sew. I encouraged her to buy a name brand but she insted on this machine. The machine does not come with clear instructions and the machine does not work as intended.
