These magnets do not work well. The slightest wind causes them to fall. Takes several attempts to even get them to hold initially. Would have returned them but the wind blew some into yard and I can’t find them all.

Well, this did not do one thing I had hoped it would. Keep the drapes against the wall to limit the amount of light getting through. I have black out but as we know, the sun creeps around them. This holds it to the wall but not tight to keep light out. As well as where the magnets meet in the middle, I still had a gap. Eventually after toying with it, I figured out how to do a roll and twist so that it would close all the way. Just note the simplistic way of putting these on will not achieve a fully closed look. One of mine had part of the clip on the back broken so you could not remove the back to use it. These kind of work like earrings, the top part pulls up releasing the grip on the pin. One of mine had the part that pulls up snapped off.

The magnets work but not with thick curtains. I tried using these for a set of blackout curtains and the magnets barely worked. Even when I added the metal pieces onto my curtains it wouldn’t help. I ended up putting them on my shower curtains to keep the shower curtains open when I’m cleaning my shower

These work GREAT!!! I have four panels on one of my windows to make it look full. I was constantly having to pull all four closed and having to fix them. This helps keep them together and you can’t tell it’s separate panels unless you’re pulling them (as pictured). The magnetic connection is strong unless you try to put it on the seams. In that case, you’d want to us the pin feature. I set mine just outside the seam and on the outside wall so it’s not visible when you look at them. Definitely recommend!!

Unfortunately, it does not work well with blackout curtains. Somehow it created gaps allowing light to go through. It actually made it worse. In addition, once I removed the pins, they left visible holes in the curtains. I can see these pins working for very lightweight curtains or sheers. This should be something stated in the description of the product. Also, while it seems very straightforward to install them, I think including some instructions would be helpful. I had to guess how to make them work.
