At the best, I am an amateur baker. This turnable is a good one to start out with if you're beginner, and looking for one that has a simple design with a low cost. The turntable does wobble slightly. So, you would have to adjust yourself to it, and that may take about five minutes to get it right. Once, you get it, its easier to use. The provided icing tools were good, and I'm happy that it was included. The flat icing tools are my favorite since it was even throughout. The square icing tool with four different designs on them had a blue sheet on it. You're suppose to take it off first and wash it. Im not sure about this certain tool because I'm concerned that the edges were sharper than I excepted. Upon closer inspection, some of the edges were a little more jagged than others. However, it didnt affect the overall presentation of the icing design. The box it came in was ill-fitted to hold all the tools. One of the icing tools was too long and ended up coming out of the box a little bit. I opened it to check the contents, and had to put it back in, so i can send it as a gift. It was difficult to put the contents back in without rearranging them in a certain way. Since the tools and turntable were intact and safely in their plastic sleeves, I was okay with the product. Im not dissatisfied with the turntable for what it's priced as. I did have fun using it with my friend for her birthday as we iced her cake. Edit: I have revised parts of my review, but I have kept my main points through the revision-the slight wobble of the turntable, my thoughts on the icing tools, and the problem with the box. I revised it because of the wonderful service that Kootek provided. They immediately followed up on my original review and offered compensation. I declined, and I thanked them for the help. I also added another star to this review, mainly because they placed high value on customer service.

I bought this because of the price. I was told to buy a metal cake turner for better quality but I’ve had no issues using this one. If you’re on a budget and need something reliable, I would recommend this.

Item was very nice! Turntable moves smoothly and is lightweight. Spatulas are sturdy. Really help with smoothing the icing or lifting the cake. Good starter set when learning to decorate cakes!

The kit comes as advertised, everything seems decent quality and I’ve already used it a few times since buying it and it all works just fine. The turntable is study and doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall apart or tip my cake over, hand tools feel nice and sturdy, and it’s a great starter kit if you’re considering getting into cake making/decorating.
