Directions say 30 minutes however even with all the tools, mechanical ability and the directions, it took more than 2 hours. Not complicated but some tight locations for the mounting bolts. I will add that I'm impressed with the quality and fit. A great value!

    • Motor failed
Motor failed after just a couple of uses. Kolpin is replacing the motor for me. Kolpin customer service is very poor and seems to be handled by one man who has a bad attitude. They did send me a new motor. However, one should be careful to never try and turn the blade while the blade is on the ground. Otherwise it will fail. ... show more

Very good idea very poorly executed. The weak motor allows the pivot to be jammed way too easily. Don't waste your money.

    • cheap gear
being disabled my ranger with 72" power angle plow works great if you don't try to plow with it. round gear bends quite easily. They made a 2 pc gear with no hardening at all.

Very weak motor would not turn blade until I loosen the hinge bolt on the blade till it was sloppy loose

Used this 3 times on the short driveway. The motor quit the 3rd time out. I'm not happy especially since there are no replacement parts.
