This brush set and the price was hard to beat. I’m 38 years old but I have never really practiced the art of makeup application. I thought this set of brushes would suit my needs just fine and they don’t break the bank. I love the color of them (mint & black) The bristles are soft, they may feel a tad synthetic to someone with more experience than I have with different types of brushes but at the risk of sounding redundant, who cares because they didn’t cost an arm nd a leg; I haven’t had any bristles falling out on me yet. Even if they were to not last long, I’m not going to be too upset because I paid under $5! I realized I had many eyeshadow and other powder makeup that I had no brush for and that led me to stop wearing it. Now my makeup won’t go to waste and I have enough that I can share them with my daughter without worrying about her ruining them. My 7 year old loves playing dress up and we’ve already had fun with this set. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I had to laugh when I saw a lady doing social media live stream makeup sales, show a brush kit, with the same amount of brushes you get here, they were selling for $299! I felt even happier that I got this set after having seen that. Give them a try. You don’t have anything to lose, especially since Amazon is so good about making sure the customers are happy with their purchases. I’ll be buying a set in purple for my mom soon. That’s how much I like these and she was admiring them when I got them, so, I have to buy her some of her own. May even get my 7 year old her own set. ... show more

    • You get what you pay for
I only paid $6 for 20 brushes, I already wasn’t expecting glamorous brushes, so I’m letting y’all know you get what you pay for. These brushes were cheaply made, like I said not a surprise there. 2 of them were already falling apart, the brush tip fell off, I guess it wasn’t glued on correctly, and the other brush the bristles were falling off after I brushed it against the back of my hand once to feel how soft it was. Out of the 20 brushes I kept 18, and I’ve trimmed or made adjustments to 4 brushes to my liking. I will say the brushes are soft on my skin, none of them were rough. One did come with some dry glue on the brush but I just put it under some water to clean it off; the brush wasn’t damaged so it’s fine. I tried them with some eyeshadow, and it did pick up the eyeshadow fine, blending was okay not the best but it did what I needed it to do so I’m fine with it. I like the variety in sizes and shapes of the brushes, that’s what I was mainly looking for, and I like the purple color. I just wish that they were glued on a little better. ... show more

I don't like this very much. It gets a 3 for being brushes that do what it is advertised to do, but the brushes keep packing off hairs. Also, all the eye brushes are too dense to blend with. You can use them as packing brushes and lip brushes but not much else. I reccomend saving a couple more bucks and buying a different set. ... show more

I would definitely recommend to a friend. The brush quality is fantastic for the price, the blendability is on point. They are slightly durable, but if you bend too hard, it'll definitely snap!
