Color is perfect black. The mat is very cushiony. It’s lightweight. It does tend to slide around easily on my faux wood floor so I put a rug gripper underneath which solved the problem. Very easy to wipe clean or vacuum.

I wear lots of grey, so I know there are varying degrees of what can be considered grey. I feel like what I got was closer to beige than grey. The mats are fine themselves. They sit nicely on the floor, are easy to clean, provide a little padding (only 1/2"), so I kept them. The color blends with my floors, which were an ashy brown.
