Description

Handcrafted from stainless steel, Vault brings bold new style to the traditional farmhouse sink. Tightly angled corners maximize basin space, and a lowered divider offers freedom of movement between basins. An included bottom sink rack fits the large bowl and helps prevent scratches. Due to its shortened apron, this sink does not require a special apron-front cabinet, making it easy to install with most new or existing 36-inch cabinetry. The Self-Trimming design requires only a simple rough cut, overlapping the cabinet face for beautiful results. From the Manufacturer The Vault undercounter offset apron-front sink with Smart Divide features an innovative shortened, Self-Trimming apron. Unlike most apron-front or farmhouse sinks, the Vault apron-front sink can be installed in new standard cabinetry or retrofitted to existing standard cabinetry, and does not require a special apron-front cabinet. This makes it ideal for kitchen remodeling situations. The sink installation requires only that the cabinet's false drawer front be removed and a simple cut to the face of the cabinet be made. The unique Self-Trimming apron overlaps the face of the cabinet, ensuring consistently beautiful installation results. This sink is designed to fit in a 36-inch base cabinet. The 9-inch deep basin, tight corner radii, and rear- oriented drain maximizes usable work space within the basin, while the innovative Smart Divide low-profile divider better accommodates large pots and helps keep water where it belongs.

Good looking, design perfect, however, I don't believe the Sink is Stainless Steal. I have tried to attach Magnets to the sink and the magnet will not hold. The Design is great, but the Quality, Not great. It's sometype of thin metal which leaves scratch marks. I've placed magnets on my Dishwasher which holds but they will not hold on the Sink ... show more

This sink is very large. I didn't want a stainless sink originally, but once I wrapped my mind around it, I came around. When this sink arrived (less than 24 hours after I ordered it) I immediately loved it so much I almost cried (and I'm not an emotional person regarding sinks). The left side is so big you can easily wash very large pots and pans (and medium sized dogs) with ease! The middle divider is very low, so handles on skillets fit over it in case you need to soak them. The right hand side is about the size of a regular sink, so even if you didn't want a big and little side, you aren't giving up anything on the small side because it's likely the size you're used to. The design is just very well thought out. I put the faucet where the divider (as opposed to the center) is so it could easily be used on either side (the sink is so big you must have a faucet where the end comes out so you can get water where you need it). I also put the disposal on the right (smaller) side so I could have the large side for soaking and not have to move things to scrape dishes. First off, everyone raves over the look of the sink and we have had several friends make this purchase after seeing ours. We went back and forth over the offset and short divide; we hand wash a lot of dishes including plastic and sharp knives etc and I am very glad we went with the smart divide. The sink itself is pretty large but a full size divide would have made washing larger items more difficult and cut down on the functionality of the sink. Make sure to order the matching drain kit as it does not come with one. Installation was straight forword and the unit went in with realitive ease. I did it myself but have the tools needed to alter the sink cabinet which you will have to do unless you have custom cabinets made for it. We had ordered the apron sink base cabinet from Kitchenkraft and still had to make changes. The directions were straight forward. Overall, we are very happy with the sink. Our only complaint is that it was not made in the U.S.A. ... show more

My sink has been installed for about 3 months now. It is so functional with the low divider. It also looks great . . . sleek and clean. I was ultimately trying to decide between a Rohl farmhouse sink and this one. I am so happy with my decision. We USE our kitchen and I didn't want my sink to show wear and tear. It cleans up really well. The stainless steel feels very durable and sanitary. I haven't had to use Barkeepers Friend yet, but know that is an option if it starts to look scratched. You do NEED a faucet with sprayer . . . . the sink is very large and it helps to wash everything out of the corners. I purchased the wire racks to put in the bottom of the sink. ... show more

Pretty easy retrofit for old cabinets. Took me and a friend about 2 hours of work to cut the soon to be removed counter top, build supports, notch the front of the old cabinet, plumb in sink and disposal drain hardware and reconnect plumbing. Beautiful appearance and we get all kids of compliments on the sink. Comes with only one wire rack for the side. Had to order the second one for protections and looks. Great heavy duty sink and was allot easier to install than expected. I picked this farm sink so I wouldn't have to completely customize my cabinet unlike others with bigger fronts. All you have to do with this one is cut out the useless fake drawers above the swing out cabinet doors.
