The design of the overflow being horizontal, allows you to get a full tub of water so that is a big plus. The other two things I enjoy are the none slip bottom which doesn't feel weird or even noticeable, but keeps me from slipping. I purchased this Archer tub in Nov 2017 from Amazon and had it installed in Jan 2018. We recently experienced water damage to the kitchen ceiling below and found a crack in the side wall of the tub. For a tub that is only 4 years old, this is completely unacceptable. The plumber advised that this is a factory defect and should not have happened. I’m now in a situation where I will have to rip out a 4 year old bathroom and start over, not to mention repair the mold and water damage to the ceiling below. Cracked not long after installation. At first the crack was invisible but after a bit it showed up clearly, and there is now easy way to fix this. We need to rip out the tub, which costs an arm and a leg.
