The sink was fairly easy to install because the manual has clear instructions, so we had no problem installing the sink, but it did take some time. The color looks nice, and I am so happy it matches my countertop. The material feels very sturdy and strong, made for heavy duty use. The sink is huge, a lot bigger than I expected, and it is super spacious, so I can fit a lot of pots, pans, and dishes all at once. The sink is also easy to maintain, making regular cleaning easy because the smooth surfaces allow for quick wipe down, and it is easy for you to remove any buildup that might get stuck on the sink. Love the off center drain! I needed this sink as it's going into a bar! The bar is going to have a garbage disposal, soda machine and a RO filter. If the the drain was centered, the garbage disposal would perfectly divide the left and right sides and won't give me enough space. However, this sink fixes that! The overall construction of it is very good, high quality thick material. The black coating is going to tie the entire space together as the counter tops are white quartz with black veins, all the fixtures and lighting is black. So it only makes sense to have a black sink! I also love the built in work station it really adds too the overall design. I probably won't use it, other than the cutting board but it's great to have when listing the house for sale. Buyer's look for these kind of things to make their life easier! The grate that goes on the bottom of the sink is also nice as I can wash my dishes/cups and leave them to dry in the sink. It's mostly used for drinks, as it's a bar. Overall, I love it. It's very good quality. You get what you pay for and I feel like it's a great value. ... show more

This Kohler Billings sink is a mid-size in the Kohler Billings line, at 29", but it still works with the accessories from that line. For example, there is a small sink and drain rack that you can get that hang over the top of the sink, on the little ledges inside. It does come with the grate for the bottom, which is nice because it helps prevent any damage to the surface from knives, pots and pans, etc. Our old kitchen sink was also composite, but black, which didn't work great with our hard water that left residue on it, and it was a divided sink, which is really kind of pointless for us and made it harder to clean. If we really feel like we need a double sink, we can put an old school plastic tub inside, but honestly I don't see a lot of situations where we might need to do that. This sink has just one drain, but it's offset to one corner, so you actually get a lot more functional sink space. It's quite large, and heavy, and the gray color is really nice-looking, smooth, and doesn't show hard water deposits. Kohler makes incredible quality things, and this sink is no exception. ... show more

This KOHLER sink was a perfect fit in my kitchen. I had to replace my old sink and this product was a great replacement. It was relatively easy to install with a friend of mine and following the instructions. It is definitely something that most people could do themselves. The walls of the sink are scratch resistant and I haven't noticed any scratches since I installed it. The material used to make this sink must be about the best quality you can get for a product like this. I highly recommend this sink and I think it would be a great fit in most kitchens. ... show more

Wow! Beautiful sink set. The black finish is gorgeous. The sink alone is heavy and thick. Definitely Kohler quality, and the accessories are well made AND make it all so darn beautiful. Very much privides a designer touch. The sink surfacing seems very durable -- though time will tell how it holds up to real kitchen work. I only use Kohler and Delta plumbing fixtures -- some polished chrome/nickel and some matte black . Matte black always requires more frequent cleaning against calcium buildup, but with this sink, my concerns are about scratching. Feels like they have designed a hardened surface to match it's intended function...fingers crossed. For now, it will make everyone jealous. :-) ... show more
