Let’s start there. It’s hard to find shoes in my size that are comfortable. These fit very nicely. Not too tight, not loose, these boots are the solid deal. They even weigh a bit and it kind of makes me step with more purpose. They don’t get overwhelmingly hot either in the spring of California so far. The build quality is very very solid. Only gripe I have is that there is some rough fabric that connects the tongue to the shaft of the boot that feels uncomfortable when you put them on, but hardly notice them at all while walking. So super minor issue. These are high quality boots. They feel expensive, while still being relatively affordable. They even come shipped with an extra pair of shoe laces for each. Real cool. I’m a fan of Kodiak now.

This is my second pair of Kodiak's and I will not be switching any time soon. Stylish enough to wear to work or out casually while durable and warm enough to wear when doing chores/working outside of the house. I live in the mountains and we can get up to 4 feet of snow at times. I've never slipped on ice in them and the leather holds up extremely well to scuffs and scrapes from my tools/lumber. Almost completely water proof in the rain as well. If you are looking for a proper snow boot for invest in pair with the inner lining or be prepared to wear some thicker socks. These are not meant for long snow days. Bonus - each pair come with a second set of laces.

All-around great boots. Fit perfectly, true to size, and look great. A little sore on the feet for the first few days while they’re breaking in but then they’re extremely comfortable. Definitely feels like a boot that will last a long time!

After wearing these a couple times one of the lace grommets ripped off. After a half dozen more times wearing them lightly the back pull tab ripped from the boot. These seem to be made extremely cheaply. If I had to do again I would not give this company my money and I won’t ever again.

Got comfortable in 3 hrs wearing on my wide feet and I didn’t buy wide. Great looking boot with good traction. Didn’t buy these to abuse them. Glued on soles usually don’t abuse well. I’ll post more after some use because 130 dollars give someone a large range of choices for this kind of boot. So far so good.

This is my first everyday boot for walking around the streets of Seattle and I'm so far very impressed. These boots are very comfortable and keep my feet at a nice temperature without any excessive sweating despite walking many miles. Lacing the boots up is a quick and easy affair, though I supect some of the lace holes may be a little sharp as there is visible damage to one part of the lace after only a week of use. Luckily they come with a second set of laces in the box. The soles have been a little slippery on certain surfaces, however I suspect this is just part of the breaking in process. I know its early days, however so far I'm very happy with the purchase and at $50 (black was on major discount for some reason) it was a no brainer. *EDIT* 03/4/18 - I've added a photo. There is a defect in one of the lace holes which slowly cuts through the laces.

I've worn these boots pretty much everyday for the past 3.5 years and they are still holding up great. This is "general everyday use" with the occasional light hike or camping trip here or there. The tread is holding up fantastic and they offer a lot of grip on a variety of surfaces. They are rugged and they look great. I've had to replace the shoe laces once, but that's it. Liked them so much I even ordered an alternate color. Thanks for making a great durable boot!
