If you’re like me, you are constantly buying furniture you have to put together yourself. And it’s not usually fun, the instructions in most furniture is usually vague and you aren’t sure how everything really fits together. Not with this couch, the pieces are color coded with those dot stickers and they also have a video for you to follow if that isn’t enough. It came with plenty of extra hardware if we needed it, which we didn’t. While the couch itself in the boxes isn’t light when you get them out of the box it’s pretty easy to maneuver. You are going to need a decent amount of space to put this together though. We got the leather mattress and it’s a little hard to move around but it’s comfortable. I’m not sure how comfortable it would be as a full time bed but as a guest bed which we’re using it for, it works. Also it’s packaged pretty well to protect things from getting damaged, My boxes came in all kinds of beat up even one of them with a rip in the back but because of all the care that was put into keeping the product safe it wasn’t even chipped when we opened it. ... show more

There are many many pieces to this frame. It would take me an entire weekend to put it together. Be sure you have good visual spatial-constructional skills and plenty of tools to take this on. The assembly isn't hard, just time consuming. You are better with 2 people for assembly process. Think cushion, heavy wood, and great customer service from company if you have a broken piece in delivery.
