We bought this to go in our spare bedroom, since it can take up less room when we don't have someone needing to sleep on it. I am honestly surprised by how comfortable this is, both as a "couch" and a "bed." The springs in the mattress really make a difference compared to other futons I've used in the past. We got a less deep fitted sheet to go on it, and it makes a great guest bed. The wood frame seems to be very sturdy too; I'm a 6'2" ~250lbs man and it has never given me any reason to worry. Very nice futon. Well constructed and easy to follow assembly instruction. I'm 6'2 and can lay on the mattress without touching the futon frame. Looks fantastic and will perfectly serve my needs!

Overall good futon. Pros: It was not too much work to assemble, but does require 2 people. The matress looks nice and material is soft. We like the side tables. It is pretty comfortable to sleep on when pulled out as a bed. My husband is quite tall and fits on it with room to stretch out. It is easy to get into the bed position. Cons: already had one of the fasteners for the matress slip into the fabric. (Had it less than a month). It is extremely difficult to get back into the couch postion without two people. ... show more

First off, I really need to address a couple of reviews here. -tessa, You aren't fooling anyone with your pictures. That was obviously jumped on in the center. For the lower frame of the futon to break AND the substructure... Well, that's not from normal use. -lostinthehills, this is hardly "thin wood". Its a futon, not a brick house. It's more than adequate. As for assembly, two of us had it together in under an hour. The directions were easy to understand and everything was clearly marked. It does take two people to fold it either up or down, but that's to be expected due to the large size of this. Speaking of size, it's much larger than I envisioned. Seems HUGE! The mattress is comfortable and made well, as is all the framework and the hardware. All-in-all an excellent investment for those looking to save a few bucks. ... show more

Some might complain about assembly, ofc,, but if you're any good at assembling things its easy, just look carefully at pics for correct placement of parts, and they even make that easier with colored stickers to match parts together. Its quite large, Im very tall and my feet comfortably set on the floor, I can see how some say that their feet don't touch the floor. Nice mattress, very comfortable. They include extra parts too. We sat on it, combined weight of 550 lbs and it didnt flinch. Im very happy. I bought it because I wanted a couch in my basement and there was no way a regular couch could get down the stairs. To make the assembly much faster I used a cordless ratchet wrench with an allen socket on it, really made it quick. Would recommend and buy again ... show more

We bought this to have a spare bed on the first floor of our home (so I wouldn't have to venture upstairs after having a cesarean section) that could also be used for extra seating in our living room. I slept on this exclusively for 2 months and I'm proud to report it was comfortable and is now available for overnight guests! Queen sized sheet sets fit just fine. If you prefer a bit more plush mattress just pick up a cheap pillow-topper or memory foam. ... show more
