As others have pointed out, the picture colors tend not to be bright and true to life (unless you're really close up on the subject and in very good lighting) but this kind of plays into the charm of the retro-looking photos and it wasn't an issue for me. The camera is super easy to charge, use, and reload, and it's easy to carry around. Since it has an SD card, you can give away the pictures you take and still reprint more for yourself later or download to your computer instead of only having the one chance. I'm using it to capture fun moments with friends but also to catalog what I'm storing in some small cardboard boxes: just stick the photo on the front! Kodak Smile Instant digital camera is fabulous and exciding, I was so excited when I heard that Kodak came out with such a cool device. The smile camera is equipped with a LCD viewfinder fixed focus making it very easy to smile, point, shoot and print! I love the automatic flash feature so when you are in low light it automatically flashes and comes with a 10MP lens, what makes this point and shoot stand out is the editing suite this cool camera offers when you take an image it will save (device is microSD compatible and you can save up to 256gb of memories!) the picture before going into edit mode, there is an assortment of filter to choose from you can choose to add or remove borders on any image. The coolest feature is the FACT that it prints color phots right on the spot with its one touch printing and no ink is needed! Making it easy to share with friends and family (they love the wallet size 2x3 prints, a few are hanging on my refrigerator it is peel off sticky backed photo paper ) the Kodak 2x3 paper is very economical too.     • Fun for my purpose but dies t take great pictures and prints are grainy

I was at an event and someone asked if they could take my picture. I said yes and thought that was it, then they handed me a picture to keep. I thought, “what a great idea and fun gifting experience”. I looked into poloroid and all the cameras were too bulky then found this which I thought was about the size of a smartphone and would be more pocket friendly. It’s slightly larger and at least twice as thick as a smartphone. It’s still fun to use but I wish it was not a printer but rather an actual exposure of the image being taken. The images aren’t crisp and many of them have lines from the printing process. I’ll finish up the remaining prints I have left and look for something with better quality results. After reviewing several cameras for our 7 year old granddaughter this one came out on top. We gave it to her for Christmas and she loves it! It’s rechargeable, compact and simple enough for her to charge, load and print film and save photos to the SD card. She loves all the accessories and gave each of us a photo in the little frames for Christmas memory. The quality of photos is great and her photographer grandpa is very impressed. We purchased this instant print camera for a trip we took to Nicaragua to see the two children we sponsor through Compassion International. This camera was awesome. We were able to take pictures of our kids and hand them an immediate memory. I have seen complaints about the quality of the pictures these cameras print. Frankly I do not know what they are talking about. The quality of these pictures are better than the original Polaroid cameras ever had. Granted the pictures are 2in. x 3in. small but they are printed virtually instantly! We found that the camera works well in bright to medium light levels. If you are inside you need to be close, 5 feet or less from your subject for the flash to illuminate the subject properly. That requirement is no different than you had to do for film cameras of the last century. This camera does not have a sophisticated light handling ability like a modern cell phone camera but when was the last time you printed directly from your cell phone into the hand of a bright eyed child in the middle of Nicaragua? NEVER! If you have realistic expectations about what this camera can do, instant 2in x 3in snapshots with a fixed mm lens then you will not be disappointed. If you are expecting 5in x 7in studio quality finished pictures then buy that $1500 digital SLR and the $1200 studio quality photo printer. This camera took and printed close to 20 photos and still had two thirds of its charge left. It is well made and well designed. This camera will be going with me on all future trips and events where instant snapshots are called for. Bought the red camera but it looks pink, photo quality is poor. Its more of a toy for a child. It was for my sons birthday he loves it so thats good but I wouldn’t recommend for an adult that wants high quality photos
