  • Awesome camera for a great price.
Color: Black Style: Camera Only
16MP photos with 42x optical zoom for less than $160! This camera is a terrific value for the options you get. I once had a Fuji camera that was comparable, but I paid way more than $160 for it. This camera is a beauty and will be in my possession for a long time. Perfect. Update: 12/8/2017. After having this camera for over a year, I still stand by my original statement in that it is a great camera. I have had problems however with indoor, low-lighting shots. For example, a children's Christmas singing pageant had pics and videos that came out very orange and blurry, no matter what setting I used (and I was using a tripod), and also in 'It's a Small World' at Disney. Hope that song isn't stuck in your head now. But the lighting in there is similar (low-light, moving animatronics), and all of the shots I took were blurry and useless. Was trying to get reaction shots of a three-year-old (my granddaughter), but none were usable. Outdoor pics and videos are ace! Long zoom photos are ace if you use a tripod and delayed shutter. I use the two second delay so the camera has time to stabilize after I've hit the shutter button. Indoor shots with low-lighting are a problem. Not sure how to overcome this. ... show more

  • Best camera I have ever used!
Color: Black Style: Camera Only
Some reviews say "my phone can take better photos!". At close range, your $1000+ flagship can probably take better photos. At a distance, though, this camera shines. It can go up to 100x digital zoom, and 42x optical zoom. Let me explain quick. Digital zoom zooms using AI basically. It looses quality the further you zoom. You can do that up to 100x. Optical zoom is where the camera takes a photo with up to 42x zoom with the same quality as 1x zoom. Which is how this camera shines. The first photo was taken at 32x zoom (white and red plane). The second photo was taken at 7x zoom (green, white and blue plane). The third photo was taken at no zoom (black plane). And the last photo was taken at 20x zoom on a 100 degree day (so heat blur). It is an amazing camera for a lot of zoom. Sturdy as well, I have dropped it a few times with no visible damage, and the value is amazing! $150-175 for a camera this good is amazing. ... show more

  • I love it but...
Color: Red Style: Camera Only
It takes great photos. I bought this for a concert. It takes quick photos. If you have issues with it.. Be sure to hold the button down half way, to get it to focus.... It provides many features. It's not too big and the strap is not too uncomfortable. HOWEVER the battery life sucks!! Fully charged and didn't even last a 3 hour concert. That's horrible in my opinion. I will also note the video sucks. It's just a blur half the time if you zoom in even just a tad. If you just want pictures.. And you don't need it that long or have a way to charge it on the go.. It's a good choice. ... show more

  • Camera Defective Battery Issue
Color: Black Style: Camera Only
UPDATE: I just got the new battery and it fixed the issue! This is a very light camera that takes wonderful pics! But.... My biggest issue is that I just purchased this camera brand new, it got here Monday to only find out it only turns on when on the charger, no matter how long you charge it. I read the instructions over and over, after looking up more info about my problem it is apparently a common issue with this camera. I emailed KodakPixPro regarding my issue and they are sending me a new battery for free to try to fix that issue. I am pretty bummed about it overall though, I was such excited to take pics of my Furbabies but I have to hook it up to the charger to take any pics, it immediately turns off and doesn't turn back on once I take it off the charger. Must be a common defective issue with this camera. ... show more

  • Excellent value for features this camera provides--esp. great zoom capability and ease of use
Color: Red Style: Camera Only
This is a great value for my usual point and shoot, spur of the moment use. I am used to using a viewfinder, and this camera does not have one. However, I am getting used to using the LCD, which is nice and large, to frame the pics and take the shots. I am pleasantly surprised by all the provided features, but have used only a few so far--esp. for distance and low-light or night shots. So far, so good. I could easily have given 5 stars for auto focus and picture quality, but as yet I haven't used the camera enough to provide a solid judgment. I recognize that some of the technology and features have been around for awhile, but I thought my take would benefit some newcomers to digital photography. ... show more

  • Picture is supposed to be worth a thousand words
Color: Red Style: Camera Only
This is second Kodak PixPro I’ve gotten. Neither one have EVER taken a picture. My first one was a Mothers Day gift from daughter. There was a plastic piece inside that we were told was a design fail. But, since that particular camera was no longer made there was nothing that could be done. (She had purchased it for me a couple months before Mother’s Day). I went to take first picture on Mother’s Day and that picture was great. We tried taking more pictures but the camera was useless. A few years down the line I figure I would give Kodak another try- thinking they are Kodak (right??!! Good brand). So, I got this PixPro AZ421, in May 2021, for a trip we were going on. Because of Pandemic trip was canceled. Last week I finally got a chance to go on another trip to see the leaves in Maine. I charged the camera.. everything appeared great! Except, camera would not turn on. I tried all the fixes I could find but, NOTHING! I start to charge it and light indicates it’s charging. The light indicates it’s charged. Screen pops up to enter date and time etc.. then. Screen goes black never to turn on again. At a loss in more ways than one. Won’t ever buy another Kodak product again. (My only way of reporting this problem was here in reviews. Amazon window has closed and I’m not getting anywhere with Kodak.) ... show more

  • Its okay. good zoom, less than average photos.
Color: Black Style: Camera Only
The media could not be loaded. First time I got it it was broken so had to get a new one. The zoom is very nice, retains its quality up to 42 zoom. The picture quality is okay. Reminds me of my old digital camera I had as a kid. The video quality is worse than even a low end smart phone, microphone is about the same as a low end smart phone. ... show more
