I’m a relatively small and weak individual so building this without a helping hand, while doable, could be a bit difficult so definitely take that into consideration. I built it with a friend and while it took us a bit to build, the instructions were easy enough to follow and the end result it amazing. It’s also heavy for me to change it from seating to bed by myself so I usually have someone help me with that, again I’m small and weak. But other than that awesome. The mattress is incredibly comfortable and soft. I would say that in seat form the mattress has a bit of an overhand over the edge of the futon seat, so don’t sit at the edge of it or you might find yourself slipping off. But in mattress form it’s the perfect size, so the seating overhang makes sense. I personally also like to prop a pillow against the armrest so I can rest against both it, the regular backrest, and then prop my legs up on the futon. Peak lounging comfort. It’s also super sturdy, the wood is solid and the under drawers are still rolling like new. But in short it looks AMAZING, has the most convenient armrest table things ever, the under drawers are incredibly practical and for this price it’s ridiculously affordable. Honestly I love it and it’s great.

This arrived a few days sooner than expected which was a nice surprise. It came in three boxes, the frame, the side arms and the mattress. The mattress box was a bit tattered it was partially open but I think that was due to Fedex handling. The mattress was securely wrapped in air tight plastic and the frame and arms were also packaged really well in their respective boxes. All of the screws and tools were well organized and lined up on cardboard pieces that were also wrapped in plastic. I put this together by myself, it took me about 2.5 hrs, at least 45 min was simply for the unboxing of the materials. The instructions for the most part were clear, the pieces have colored stickers for you to follow along however I did have to consult the instructions video on the website just to make sure I was understanding the steps so I was glad a video is available. There were no damages to any of my pieces and it's really sturdy, real wood for you! The mattress is comfortable and it makes a great addition to my office/guest room, so glad I purchased this.

Very nice looking and comfortable both to sit and sleep on. It was challenging to assemble, instructions were not the best and portions of it definitely require 2 people. Wish they would have stressed more to pretty much keep ALL of your screws and attachments loose in the holes and tighten all at the very end, otherwise nearly impossible to get all the pieces to fit together. I severely scratched it in the process because I was putting it together wrong. The mattress is hard to wrestle, wants to lay flat and not fold to the couch position. The drawers are "free" and not on any tracks. They roll out so you have to keep rolling them back under and into place. Shipment came in 4 boxes. Got to assembling the arms, opened that box to discover incorrect color was sent (did not match). They fixed it quickly, but then I received 2 pieces of the right arm instead of a right and a left. Again, addressed quickly but it was still over a week of just trying to get the parts I needed.

It was very easy to assemble with clear and concise instructions. It is very sturdy. I tightened the bolts and let the family use it for a week. I then went back and tightened everything again. I then capped the countersink where the bolt heads were located. We love the extra shelf at the arm rest and the drawers are an added benefit for storage. Great piece of furniture worth the extra effort of assembly.

The product came quickly and in 3 separate (large) boxes. One was the matress, the other was the individual parts for the seat portion, with all the hardware and the last had the end pieces (arm rests). It took about 2 hours to assemble. Everything could be assembled with the included allen wrenches. The only other tool we used was a rubber mallet to tap in the wood plugs on the outside of the arm rests that finish the look. This thing is well built and very sturdy! It is made from real wood. Not sticker covered particle board. The seat/bed is NOT spring loaded, so you have to be careful when converting or the back will slap down into the horizontal position. Other than that, it had the perfect look and functionality we wanted. We bought the Queen size for our loft and it fit perfectly. The product is a little pricey, but I feel like I got my money's worth and this piece will last for years. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a futon and not wanting to spend thousands at a furniture store. I would consider buying another if I needed one.

Real nice piece of furniture for a guest room or study. Works well in an office environment. Sturdy and comfortable, and adds a nice touch to a room that needs to double as a sleeper area. I would recommend two people to assemble and move around. It gets bulky Solid finish and looks nice in all settings. Not cheap looking

item came like a lot of woods in the box. half of the day you have to spend to assembly back and seat. instead of send already complete in the box. For this money must be easy to assembly. Big instruction for 17pages. web provide Vidio for nothing . Futon seat under angel not strait. If , I know Its' better to buy sofa bed than this futon. Matras to heavy and to make sofa bed not to easy. You have to be strong.

Although the mattress is comfortable when flattened down as a bed, it looks silly when set up as a couch. The queen mattress sticks up above the frame about 10 inches, creating a bizarre Alice-in-Wonderland appearance. If you buy this, get it in full (which is what you see in the photo) and NOT queen so that the proportions look normal. We are using ours in the basement rec room, so my standards are lower, but if it was for a main-level family room, I would have been disappointed indeed.
