These stainless steel ball bearings are listed at 5mm in diameter; however, they are actually closer to 4mm. I got these to use as ammo for my slingshot; however, since they are the size of BBs, it is a little hard to keep them in the slingshot's leather pouch without dropping them. Of course, this has nothing to do with usefulness of these ball bearings for their actual purpose for use in bicycles or anywhere else ball bearings are needed. The kit include a box of 220 bearings--I didn't count them--and two clear bottles with screw tight dispenser caps; a large bottle and a smaller one. I'm not 100% sure what the bottle are for; however, there is a photo on the site of some ball bearings in the bottle with oil. I guess this allows you to prelubricate the bearings. I love this pack! Personally I feel you get a lot more in this pack then you would from a hobby shop. The balls themselves work great in any container, vallejo, tamiya, ak, etc.
