Great intro wool! I'd say it's a bit thinner than worsted though, closer to DK weight. Also color is more of a medium light (elephant?) grey than the dark charcoal pictured.

This yarn is amazing! My daughter used it to crochet a winter scarf. She didn't have any issues with it. She liked working with it. She said it's soft. This was her first time using wool.
