This yarn is so soft and the color is just exquisite. It is also very easy to work with. It does not tangle or twist, I have not found any knots in it either. The yarn also does not separate, it stays tightly twisted while being worked with. Once it is worked up it is warm and soft.

This is lovely yarn that's very easy to work with. Great deal for wool. However, I wouldn't say it's a worsted weight, it's noticeably thinner. Also, I ordered the neutrals pack and instead of the lighter tan/peach color shown in the photos, I got a double of the cloud (cream color). I'd have given a lower star rating for these minor issues, but it works up smooth as butter! ... show more

The Socks I made with this wool are so soft. The yarn was a dream to work with, no splitting or unraveling and the price and colors can't be beat. I will definitely be back for more.

I really liked these and they were a great value. You do need to be aware that they are not full-sized skeins in this package, but more like sample sizes for weaving or craft projects, maybe children's hats or mittens. I used them for card weaving, and was a little nervous about using them for a continuous warp weave because several reviewers had said they had breaks in them, and knots do not work in weaving. I found few to none had any breaks at all. I easily wound them into two smaller balls (for example) and used them in a warping box for 6-9 foot long tablet weaving with two or three colors. That example won't make a lot of sense to anyone who doesn't weave, but my point is, they were not all chopped up ends, and were quite consistently usable and soft, and pleasant to work with. ... show more

First of all, the yarn from Knit Picks is truly excellent. The quality never disappoints and they always have the most on trend colors in their collections. I love Wool of the Andes for so many reasons, but this is just a review of their neutrals bundle. 1. I know a lot of people are throwing shade on how much yarn you get in each skein, but I've found it to be more than enough for my projects. I think Knit Picks intended this bundle to be used for one single project such as a shawl, baby blanket or a sweater (obviously it works for smaller projects as well.) 2. The colors in the neutrals bundle work beautifully together (as you can see by the pic I've attached to this review.) If you're looking for colors that work well together and transition beautifully into one another, this bundle does that perfectly. 3. This wool is the softest and squishiest, making it one of the comfiest wools to wear around your neck. 10 out of 10, will be buying again! ... show more
