I got this as an option for laying in the back of my SUV and watching the sunset or a quick space saving way to accommodate an unexpected overnight guest in my home. Honestly it's great! It decent quality, the fabric is soft and I love that it comes with patches just in case. I bought an adapter so the pump could be used with an outlet, allowing for inflation anywhere. Quick takes: PROS Easy set up 10 minute speedy inflate time including pillows Comfortable (tested just 1 adult) Small space folding saving design Carry bag that fits everything Air pump has all the nozzles you need Decent instructions CONS Air pump is extremely loud Though warned in the instructions, the bed does have an odor upon opening it and needed to be aired out The jury is out on the fit in my car but I'm sure it will be fine. Definitely looking forward to getting good use out of it!

The "pillow" portion requires the front seats to be moved forward, but because I'm 5'11", I need to do that anyway. I sort of wish I got the other configuration that "wraps" around the wheel wells, but this does just fine as my body doesn't normally contour to the wheel well well anyways. Beyond this one wish, it fits the back really well, like a glove. The pump is plenty strong, blowing up the mattress in less than 5 minutes. Fill the two ports and good to go. I haven't made it past the "break in" period, which means the instructions say to "just inflate some more" which is pretty normal for an air mattress going from hot to cold. The kit comes with repair patches and two inflatable pillows. I probably won't use those as inflatable pillows are usually pretty horrible (personal preference, not an issue with these).

My family doesn't do a lot of car camping, but they do enjoy the drive in movie theater and I thought this would be a no brainer. The pictures made it look like it could be fairly versatile with the sides being able to fold up a little, but I don't think that feature is really needed in some cases. We tested it our in my wife's Honda Pilot and there was plenty of space in the back for it to lay flat. With both seats down, the width was perfect and I had about 3 inches of total space that could be divided between the head and the feet. That's about perfect for me so you can close the back door if you'd like without fear of it getting caught and potentially ruined. The included pump connects to a standard 12v outlet (cigarette lighter) and works pretty quickly. The mattress has two sections and both have valves that allow you to pump air in without it escaping. When it comes time to deflate it, just pull the valve plug out and the air escapes quickly. The included pillows have similar valves and plugs and the pump has an adapter to adjust for the different sizes. You can also use the pump to remove the air from the mattress if you'd like, but it's not really necessary. One of the things that surprised me the most is that I was able to get the mattress back into the original box really easily once I deflated it. That makes storage so much easier, but if you don't want to use the box, it also includes a carrying bag. The bag closes with a couple snaps which is the only thing I would have changed about the whole design. A zipper would have been better to keep the contents clean and avoid anything accidently falling out, but that's not really that big of a deal. I think that about covers everything except that I forgot to mention that the pad itself is actually pretty comfortable. It is an air mattress so it's not going to be the same a the one I use every night, but I could actually see my wife and I using it during a road trip or just for a quick get away. It seems well made and should hold up pretty well.

The thickened, flocked surface feels soft, making long trips way more relaxing than just trying to nap on regular car seats. The two included pillows? A huge win. I didn’t think I’d need them, but they make a difference for better neck support while sleeping. Plus, the quick inflate and deflate system is super easy with the external pump—no wrestling with manual inflation. Durability-wise, it holds up well. I tested it on a camping trip, and it stayed firm overnight, with no annoying slow leaks. If you want a comfy, reliable SUV mattress for road trips or outdoor adventures, I highly recommend this one. I love the idea of this air mattress. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but just from the packaging and first look it seems like it'll be a very decent mattress. I love that it is designed to fill up the back of an SUV. I went camping with my scouts a couple weeks ago and slept in a tent on the ground. Quickly realized I'm not young enough to do that anymore. This air mattress is a game changer. It comes with a bag large enough to carry all the components. The bag is a little flimsy, but it'll suffice.
