i got this kmz suv air mattress to add flexibility to my starwatching nights on my private campground. while i usually use a dedicated camping setup, it'll fun to be able to crash in my suv when the mood strikes—and this mattress makes that possible. setup was a breeze. i used my own portable pump (same one i use for my SUP) and inflated each section quickly. the four independent chambers make it easy to customize the shape depending on what gear i have in the car. for me, the 40% inflation setup with a mostly deflated pillow gave me room for my backpack and cooler. the 20% side folded up neatly underneath after deflating it. comfort-wise, it’s solid. it holds air well, supports my weight, and feels durable. i haven’t done a full overnight on it yet, but based on performance so far, i trust it’ll hold up. i’m not a fan of the flocking texture or the super light color—it shows dirt easily, and like most air mattresses, the surface isn’t something i’d want against bare skin. but that’s easy to solve with a sleeping bag or light blanket. the included carry bag wasn’t very practical for me—I’ll be switching to a compression sack for easier storage. that said, the mattress itself is impressively well-designed. it fits my suv well and would be great in a tent or even as a guest bed at home. overall, despite a few minor gripes about color and feel, i’m giving this a five-star review. it’s an incredibly useful and flexible sleep solution for solo suv campers, tent setups, or as an emergency guest mattress. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This dual zone air mattress fit pretty well in the back of my 2013 Jeep Wrangler JKU. The box included all the needed items to get it setup, along with a carry bag and patch kit. There are also 2 small inflatable pillows inside. Inflation with the included pump took about 2 minutes, and there are adapters included for both the large section valves and the smaller openings for the pillows. With the 60/40 seats in the back of my Jeep folded down the mattress fit pretty good. The head/pillow portions were at a slight angle, similar to what you see in the product listing pictures. I don't feel like the mattress is as plump/thick however as what is shown, thus you might not find it as comfortable if you are used to sleeping on more traditional air mattress. My only real disappointment with this item was the included storage bag, which tore as I attempted to stuff the deflated mattress and other items back into it. This seems like a nice addition to round out a decent inflatable kit, but its obvious that the material and sturdiness of the storage bag was an afterthought, which given the price point of this item, is a bit disappointing. I'm going to see if I can find an aftermarket storage bag to put this in. ... show more

    • Worth twice the price!
My son sleeps in my Chrysler Pacifica minivan when he goes skiing to Mammoth Mountain and Big Bear Mountain. He was not happy with the accommodations, but when you are a broke teenager, what can you do? Well, being someone with a small amount of empathy, I got him this KMZ air mattress. I was going to just get a regular double air mattress when I came across this one. Let me tell you how surprised I was by the quality and attention to detail KMZ provided. The instructions clearly said that the mattress will stretch during the first use or two so it will seem to deflate, but that is not a leak, just fill it more. I have owned many air mattresses and am wondering if I thought they were leaking when they were only stretching. Hmmm... Anyway, he did fill it up a couple of times the first night, so plan accordingly. Also, they include the filling pump and patches, so this is complete and ready to go. He was SUPER happy with the detail of the shape, which kept him from hitting the sides of the car (very cold plastic) and the seats (where the pillow side goes). It has a nice protective bottom layer, but I had him take a shipping blanket I had to protect it more, as my van gets a lot of use and who knows what is in that carpet... It is very flexible for your particular setup, but for our van, which has 8' behind the front seats, there was no issue using the full size of this mattress. I guess in the summer it can also go to the beach as a nice floating mattress, but it is still skiing season, so that is just speculation. For sleeping, he said the third time he used it, no filling was required and he slept like a baby. With blankets above and below, he stayed warm ad comfortable and did not notice the mattress at all. Based on the quality of the materials and the workmanship, I would expect to get many uses from this mattress. I am very surprised it was only a little over $70, as this is a great value. ... show more
