These carrots are made from a strong wood and painted well. They come in some different sizes, but most are hardly noticeable. I wish they varied more so my baby could tell and have an easier time putting them back in the correct spot. Overall, a good toy for the price and a nice Easter gift for my 8 month old.

The carrot puzzle was a favorite for our son. He carried them all over. Loved to play keep away. And despite trying to puzzle them back and failing, they still for the most part sit back on the block which is nice - minimizes frustration when it’s not all going to plan. Finish is durable and lasted through many bites and sloberings.

I purchased this for my 1 year old granddaughter. I was surprised that it was so much smaller than I expected but then realized she has tiny little hands so that was fine. I like it better that its smaller so it takes up less space. Other reviewers have suggested that it could be a choking hazard but I dont see it. A child would really have to jam it down its throat intentionally to choke on it. Just my opinion though. I would purchase it again.

This toy is great on several levels. I love the simplicity of the wooden toy design. We can work on colors, sizing and problem solving. We added this gift to our daughter’s Easter basket and it has been the most played with item. And no annoying lights or sounds which is a plus for the parents. Great find!
