I restore old motorcycles and have used Klotz TechniPlate for over 40 years. Klotz performance is second to none and it smells great; much better than competitor brands. The reason I purchased the TC-2 is because of its versatility. Klotz designed the TC-2 synthetic for oil injectors or premix applications and I needed to run both in order to prime an empty oil injection system on a 36 year old Yamaha 175 Enduro, which takes up to two minutes. Enough time to seriously damage or seize the engine without running premixed gas. The TC-2 worked perfectly premixed and in the injector. As expected, it did smoke more once the injector was primed but didn't significantly effect the engine's performance. After priming the oil injector, I didn't risk diluting or changing out the 1/2 gal. of premix I put in the gas tank. Even doing a lot of starting, shutting off, idling, carb adjusting, and cold start riding, the engine didn't labor over being over-lubricated or foul the plug. If that doesn't say enough about Klotz and the quality of TC-2, I don't know what does. Now that the premix is gone and the injector is the engine's only oil supply, the amount of exhaust smoke is back to normal as is the plug color. Klotz has always been one of the more expensive synthetic 2-cycle oils but you really do get what you pay for in quality and performance. I just long for the good old days when I used to complain about TechniPlate being $3.00 a quart.

You've probably heard it before: Klotz has a really nice 2t smell. This is premium 2T oil. It is expensive, but for a 50cc bike, a gallon will last for years. This is a good oil for oil injected systems, and has never let me down. It's pricey, but you're worth it. Recommended.

If you own a two stroke you need to at least try klotz. My go-to oil is amsoil, but here I am buying klotz on amazon cause I want my 50 year old two stroke motorcycle to smell awesome when I tinker on it this winter.
