This is for sure an entry level sub but it hits pretty hard! I can't complain! This was to replace my 12" MK subwoofer but I was able to fix the 12" So did I return it? Heck no! I bought a splitter and another cable and now I have 2 subs! I'm all about more wattage for the cottage! It was easy to set up and tuning it to the room was no problem. I bought thus Klipsch subwoofer to compliment another Klipsch reference series subwoofer which is positioned diagonally across my entertainment room. My Onkyo AV receiver drives two subwoofers as part of a 7.2 surround sound setup. The sub has an auto-on function when it senses a signal, but I prefer to leave the power switch in the constant on position. If you operate two subs like I do, it's important that they are in the same phase, otherwise, if the phases are 180° apart, there will be soundwave cancelation with diminution of quality and volume of the subwoofer output. Fortunately there is a switch on the rear of the cabinet to correct out-of-phase anomalies. Once the LFE, crossover and gain were set optimally, the sound and visceral impact became superb. I use my AV surround system and a 75" Samsung TV mostly for PS5 gaming and some movie streaming. I am very happy with this subwoofer. ... show more

I bought this to go with my Klipsch BAR 48 sound bar, which has it's own wireless 8 inch sub woofer. All is OK. But I wanted more WOOF. Used the wired output on the BAR 48 for the new 10 inch sub woofer, so I now have two sub woofers and am really happy with the results. I no longer need to turn on the Denon system with all it's Klipsch speakers (including a 15 inch sub) most of the time. The Bar 48 and the two subs suffice for all regular TV and streaming sources. DVD movies need the big system for my satisfaction and to rattle the windows. This woofer was on sale when I bought it (a bargain,) and goes plenty loud even for me. A good buy. If you need a smaller but powerful sub woofer, give this a thought. RIC ... show more

From them - I expect a lot. And this subwoofer doesn't disappoint. I recently updated my home theater receiver, and the new one actually supports up to 4 subwoofers. Well... can't let those outputs go empty, right? I've had a Klipsch subwoofer in my home theater for a number of years. My subwoofers have always been downward facing so when I ordered these I was a little interested to see how the forward facing worked out. It's working out just fine.
