  • EXCELLENT SOUND AND QUALITY
Color: Ebony Pair
I'm very pleased with the performance of these speakers. These were an upgrade from a less expensive set of Klipsch floor standing reference speakers. I'm very happy that I upgraded to the Reference Premier. At 1/2 the price that they cost originally; you can't go wrong. Great bang for the buck. I will be listening to these for many years to come. They arrived in perfect condition, but the Styrofoam packing around the speakers was mostly broken. ... show more

  • Clarity and precision without harshness
Color: Ebony Pair
My initial impression is that these are very impressive speakers. They can effortlessly fill a big room with precise, clear sound. They are a significant step up from Klipsch RP-160M bookshelf speakers for large-room applications. There is no brightness or harshness that is typically associated with titanium tweeters. They aren't warm, but they also don't lack warmth. They're just really clear and impressive. I would describe these as mid-priced speakers. They're more expensive than, say, Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers, which are actually a great value, but they're less expensive than most of the high end speakers you'll see at speciality stores. I think they're well-positioned for their price point. If you have a medium sized or smaller room and you aren't hard core about sound quality, go for some good bookshelf speakers or some Andrew Jones towers. The bang for the buck is great with these. If you have more demanding tastes or applications, you'll find that these are a noticeable step up in clarity from the best of the budget speakers, and they can make you question whether it makes sense to spend above $1000 per speaker. These speakers have an imposing presence due to their size. The minimalist design isn't notably stylish, but manages to avoid being brutalist, ugly, or notably cheap looking. It's a simple, no-nonsense sort of look. ... show more

  • Great speakers
Color: Piano Black
Absolutely great speakers! I'll advise anyone to order two of the single ones instead of the double even if you'll have help.Think of the Driver alone hauling the pair around. My UPS driver was great. He Brought them to the building lobby.I carried them six floors up alone. It wasn't fun. I wouldn't have been able to do it if it was the double. They arrived undamaged 🙏. Paired them with the yamaha Rx-a6a. Perfect speaker for just about everything in my opinion. I got the RP-500SA,RP-502S,RP-600M, RP-504C and RP-8060FA all in Piano Black for about $2750 total tax included. ... show more

  • Beautiful, wonderful sounding speakers
Color: Piano Black
So, these were a “I got a $30K promotion” treat for myself, and I can’t imagine having my poor speakers again. There’s just no comparison between these floorstanding beasts and the bookshelf + sub system I was using. There’s actually BASS from my front channels! I can hear things I couldn’t before! Between these and the Klipsch center channel I also got, I can finally turn off subtitles in movies. I thought my ears were bad. Not kidding. ... show more

  • 90%satisfied
Color: Ebony
I love the speaker and the price was below other places. Only negative was the left side top corner was smashed in a little. It doesn't affect the performance of speaker.

  • Great Kilpsch Speakers
Color: Ebony Pair
Klipsch speakers are second to none. The customer support is the best. Speakers sound the best with Yamaha RX-A8A or RX-A6A. Life is just so beautiful with great sound. Buy these speaker from Acoustic Sound Design Inc., they have the best service, fast speed of delivery and best of all, saving me over 45%(it's not typo) of other online vendors. ... show more

  • This company sucks!!!!
Color: Walnut
I bought these as a family gift for my kids and husband since we do not go to the theater at all. I bought two of these speakers and within six months one of them is blown. We have two small kids and the speakers are in a relatively small room, so we're certainly not cranking up the volume. I have contacted Klipsch and I have not heard from them as of yet and it has been 20 days. I have tried calling, I have filled out their form online, and I sent them emails. I have only received automated reply back and nothing else. Please save yourself thousands and don't buy from Klipsch! It started out with great sound and it is truly magical, but only if it had stayed that way. The speaker crackles and sounds horrible. I would expect more for their name and this price. ... show more
