  • Well-made cable cutter at good price
Style: Non-Insulated
Used this cable cutter to remove corroded battery terminal connectors and clean up cable end for a Generac 28kw home generator. Handled cable size easily, made clean cut and took very little effort. Comfortable grip, looks to be made of quality materials and I expect to get years of service from this cutter. ... show more

  • LOVE This Cutter – Goes Through Wire Like Butter Every Single Time
Style: Non-Insulated
LOVE This Cutter – Goes Through Wire Like Butter Every Single Time This Klein Tools 63050 cable cutter earns every bit of 5 stars and has become my absolute go-to cutter without question. I love this tool. It cuts through aluminum, copper, and communications cable like butter—clean, effortless, one-squeeze cuts that leave a flat, undistorted end without crushing or fraying the conductors the way lesser cutters tend to do. For solar wiring, RV electrical work, and general cable cutting across a wide range of wire gauges, the performance is consistently outstanding every single time I reach for it. The heavy-duty construction feels exactly right in the hand—solid, balanced, and built to last through years of hard use without loosening up or losing its edge. The fact that it's Made in USA adds extra confidence in the quality and craftsmanship, and Klein Tools has earned their reputation as the gold standard in professional hand tools for generations of electricians and tradespeople for very good reason. Once you use a properly built cable cutter like this one, going back to cheap alternatives is simply not an option. If you do any serious wire and cable work and want a cutter that performs flawlessly, lasts for years, and makes every cut feel effortless, the Klein 63050 is the one to get. Stop settling for lesser cutters—this is the real deal. Highest possible recommendation. ... show more

  • As Good As All The Rest of My Klein Tools
Style: Non-Insulated
I started buying Klein tools in the mid-60s for work in electronics. A little expensive but they last forever. I needed a good lineman's plier and cable cutter for some recent electrical work so I bought Kleins, Excellent tools that can be handed down. Just keep them clean and lightly oiled and do not try to use them outside their design parameters. I read a few less-than-flattering reviews and it looks like three problems are happening: 1) The plier/cutter is obviously used with dirt, rust, and contaminants. Probably someone who ordered them, used them for a project, left them dirty, and returned them to Amazon for a refund = zero cost tool use (I've had that happen to me and Amazon is quick to fix it.), 2) The user tried to use them outside their design limits. I even read where a "machinist" tried to cut hardened aircraft control cable and then complained when the cutter didn't work so well, and 3) The user got a counterfeit item, which is Amazon's bad. ... show more
