Using with Quest 2. Successfully passed the Oculus app speed test at 2.8Gbps. I have run the quest 2 at 120hz and experienced no issues playing F1 25. I am running a 3090 with a 5800x3d and PCVR works well so far. Will update if there are any issues but I will say this is a quality cable.

We ordered this 16-foot charging cable for our MetaQuest 2 to give my son more freedom during his VR sessions. He often forgets to charge his headset battery, so having this long cable lets him keep playing even when the battery is low. The 16-foot length is perfect for moving around without feeling restricted or being forced near an inconvenient power outlet. The cable is thick and does not get twisted up, yet flexible enough to move. At first, my son noticed the cable felt a bit heavy and didn't like it brushing his ear. The instructions include attaching the cable to the original MetaQuest 2 headset with a Velcro strap. Since we use a different headset, the KIWI design Head Strap with Battery and Audio, we had to adjust a bit, but tucking it over the earpiece worked fine. The connection to the headset is secure and doesn’t come loose during play. He mainly uses the cable for charging, not for connecting to a PC, and it works perfectly for that purpose. Now, the only thing limiting his playtime is the rules I set, not the battery life. Overall, this is a reliable product from a brand we trust. ... show more

This link cable allows the user to directly connect their VR device to a PC via a USB port for the purpose of communicating data and charging their VR device. The cable and connectors are of good quality. The instructions are bare bones but provide enough guidance for a knowledgeable person to get it working. To get the most use out of it you will need a fairly modern PC and a modern nVidia or AMD video card, and I recommend researching the specific hardware requirements if uncertain. I haven't had any problem using it with my rig. My specs are: AMD Ryzen 9900x CPU, AMD 7900 GRE GPU, 64 GB Ram, Windows 11, and a Meta Quest 3. The cable is long enough to connect to your PC if you are seated or standing nearby but I would not use it with any game that requires a lot of movement. This link cable is really intended for someone with enough computer skill to be comfortable with things like homebrew software and emulation who has a computer capable of running PCVR apps and games. It is not necessary to play meta quest or PCVR games (which can be streamed over a wireless home network). I have been satisfied with the Kiwi brand accessories I have used with my Meta Quest 3 and give them my thumbs up. ... show more

Only tested this cable for a few minutes so far, but so far, so good—it worked flawlessly with my Quest 2, didn’t drop signal, and didn’t feel like it was about to self-destruct when I moved around. The length is perfect for flailing around without accidentally yanking the headset off my face. Bonus points: the white matches my Quest and the aftermarket head strap, so I look just a little bit less like a cyborg raccoon. I’ll update if anything melts or frays. I’m using this with a Meta Quest 3, and it does exactly what I wanted: lets me keep playing while the headset charges. The 16‑foot length is generous and gives me plenty of movement without feeling restricted, which is great in a larger play space. The cable itself feels well made — thicker than the stock charging cable but still flexible enough that it doesn’t fight you. After my adolescent pup happily chewed holes into my original Meta Quest 3 charging cable, I was just a bit upset. I could actually see the wires lying under the jacket. You know, I’m sure many reviewers are going to go into great detail on this cord, which is awesome, but I’m just gonna give it to you straight without going into so much technical detail because the bottom line is this cord is fantastic. Kiwi is a very well-known brand in the VR world, and I have many of their accessories for my Quest headsets. I’ve never been disappointed in any of them. This cord falls right in with that sentiment. The length of the cord is great because it allows you some freedom. You’re not so tied down so you have to be careful of getting it yanked out of your headset or wherever you’ve got it plugged in. Whether you’re doing PCVR, or you’re doing some data exchange, or whatever is happening, this cord is definitely worth the higher price point for the quality and reputation you get. ... show more

It worked for a bit. But after a week and a half it stopped charging, and even disconnected me repeatedly. Sure kept my quest charged for a bit, but it kept getting disconnected no matter what. I wouldn't recommend personally, but I've heard the Link Cables are a mixed bag, and take what I write down with a grain of salt. ... show more
