This is pretty sturdy and has a nice coating that makes it well suited for making drinks. I have only used it a couple of times so I'm not sure if continuous wear will eventually wear it down. I don't plan on you using it as heavily as a bar would so I am confident that it will last a long time. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

I would have preferred this ice crusher to be slightly bigger but it still gets the job done. I use it to crush ice to put in drinks--regular drinks like iced tea, juice, and water, not cocktails. Before I would slam ice wrapped in a towel against my counter but this ice crusher doesn't require me to do that anymore. It's a useful kitchen tool.

Reached well into bottom of shaker. The raw wood could use a coat of protective oil to keep it from cracking, but we have that. Bottom edge is nice for smashing (muddling). Overall, does the job.
