Bought it for my 1 1/2 year old grandson for his visits with us at the beach. I love kites... fly the stunt ones as much as I can..... This kite is so easy for him. Don't let out too much line though - only about 12-15 foot...... haha... but he has been able to fly himself and the looks on his face being able to "fly it himself" is beyond belief. (Just need to teach him to let Grandma know when he doesn't want to fly any more because you'll need to send someone to chase it down the beach... Grandma can't easily chase a flying kite down the beach (a learning curve).... And he picked up the way it should be tugged when the wind changed pretty darn easily. It has of course crash and burned quite a few times now... (ocean beaches and the wind there - off and on), but it's still all together and almost like new. This is the best kite, in my opinion, for a young one. It's so far, like a Timex.... keeps on ticking. I have the dragon one.... so only can say about that style. But as a kite lover and wanting to introduce the kite flying feeling to my grandson.. it has been the best. I will be buying another type soon. ... show more

This is a good kite. Easy to fly. The assembly is easy. My only complaint is the way the rods connect is a little awkward. There's a loop in the back that you need to slip the rods through but it could be better designed to make it easier to do so. It also doesn't fold as neatly as some of our other kites. Still would recommend it though. ... show more

My 5-year-old granddaughter was overjoyed when she opened her Amazon package She yelled, “a flying DINOSAUR!!!”, which she’s obsessed with right now. Her mother (my daughter), says it was very easy to assemble and it sails in the air beautifully!!!

I loved it! Easy too assemble! Went very high up in the sky with ease... took it to the lake on mothers day and I got a litte too zealous with it and a really really good gust of wind snatched it right out of my hand 🤦♀️. My family had a good laugh as I chased it down only to end up watching it float off into never land in the sky 😭 my son was devastated 🤦♀️ so I bought another 💪 love this kite! ... show more

Put the kite together and raised it into the sky, there was very minimal wind, and it flew wonderfully for about two minutes. Then it came down, and one of the pieces was broken in two. There is no way to fix it. Will see if the company reaches out to me. Will update review if so!
