I really like this chef's jacket. I am not a chef, but I think this is fantastic for a messy home cook. I prefer a chef's coat instead of an apron, as it keeps you much cleaner. Based on the sizing chart, I thought this might be a bit too big for me. It's actually perfect since you wear it over other clothing that can be bulky; this still allows for the full radius of your arms/shoulders. I typically wear a size medium. I'm a size 34DD / 40-inch chest, and this medium fits great with just a bit of space for a sweater to fit underneath, but it is still flattering over just a t-shirt. Order your usual size, and it will be good. The fabric is a nice mix of cotton and synthetic, comfortable like cotton but synthetic enough that it repels a bit of water. It has a flattering fit and is not boxy.

Am I a real chef? No. Am I my family's personal chef? Yes. (Joking but also not. I cook at lot and we host a lot of parties.) I got this to use when I would normally use an apron because I get a little tired of the apron pulling on my neck. This jacket is so comfortable! I'm so happy! It fits perfectly, isn't hot or tight, covers my clothes down over my waist so I don't get messy and it looks really adorable too.

I got this for my oldest daughter and she said, less polyester and more cotton since it gets hot in the kitchen and it just made her sweat more. She also said that it was tight around the armholes. She wore it for about a half a shirt and put on a t-shirt. Overall style was good. If the company fixes those two issues, she would be willing to try again.

I usually wear a size medium, and it has a little room to spare, this shirt is a little tight and I would have to go up a size than usual. The buttons are easy to button up and the length seems to be just fine. However, the material this jacket is made from is very stiff, and hard, and scratchy on your skin. Even with a tank top underneath it is incredibly uncomfortable. Mostly around the arm holes and the neck, it makes your skin feel raw and its very scratchy. I tried washing it in cold as I do all dark clothes, and using fabric softener and dryer sheets. The only thing that happened was the shirt got smaller. I wanted to like it even with the size difference, but I just can't wear this for any length of time, and not at all now that it got even smaller. Sorry guys.

This chef's jacket is definitely lightweight but that doesn't mean it isn't quality. The material is tough and breathable while being flexible where you need it. It fits snug in that way but you have the give where it matters. The little tasting spoon pocket on the sleeve is just the perfect attention to needs.

I’m really pleased with this short sleeve chef jacket. It’s incredibly lightweight, which makes a huge difference when you’re working in a warm kitchen. I chose the black color because it’s far less likely to show stains, and that has already proven to be a smart choice. One of my favorite features is the sleeve pocket. It’s surprisingly handy and keeps small tools or pens right where I need them. The fit is excellent—fitted without being tight—and the length hits just below the waist. With this cut, the jacket stays out of the way while cooking, which I really appreciate. Overall, it’s a practical, comfortable jacket that makes kitchen work a little easier.

I love this little chef's coat, which I got to wear in my own kitchen in lieu of an apron. The material is sturdy, pretty typical of uniforms but I found it to be softer and nicer looking. It's very comfortable and holds up well in the wash. I am petite, and it fits well with any need for adjustment.
