I don't use a hand blender very often, so I didn't want to invest in a top-of-the-line model. This one is relatively inexpensive, and I was expecting results in line with its price, but I was surprised. One of my favorite sauces has almonds, roasted red peppers and garlic together with olive oil and lemon juice. The KitchenAid hand blender handled the ingredients with ease. Rather than using my regular blender, I put all of the ingredients in the container that comes with the hand blender, turn it on for less than a minute, and get perfect results.
