Before I forget—here are some Tips before my full review: 🔧 Assembly Tips This island comes with an Allen wrench and a small screwdriver, plus 32 pages of instructions. It will take you days to assemble with provided tools. You'll need good tools. I assembled it by myself in about 5 hours using an electric screwdriver (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). I thankfully already had a variety of drill bits for the provided screws and hex/Allen sizes—this made a huge difference. An electric screwdriver will absolutely save your hands and back. More help would obviously speed things up, but I’m too stubborn to ask. Take your time, follow the steps carefully, and pay close attention to the direction of the parts—this is critical. A few pieces I received didn’t have proper pre-drilled holes, which was frustrating, especially with the tiny M screws. I carefully used a slightly larger screw to lightly poke a starter hole. Be extra cautious during assembly, as this is particle board and pieces can crack if forced. 🛡️ Longevity Tips (Highly Recommended) If you plan to use this island frequently, I strongly recommend protecting the tabletop ( particle board wood painted finish) with a clear custom top, runner or sealant. This kitchen island has completely transformed how I use my space, both functionally and visually. It truly lives up to its versatility, easily transitioning between: A compact kitchen cart — A full island with a drop leaf for seating or prep — A stylish sideboard or buffet — The extendable drop-leaf countertop is incredibly convenient. It nearly doubles the usable surface, perfect for bar-stool seating, a cozy coffee nook, or extra prep space when entertaining or cooking. When not in use, it folds down neatly to free up space. 🔌 Power & Convenience My absolute favorite feature is the built-in charging station. It includes two AC outlets and two USB-A ports, plus a generous cord. I can power small appliances, use my mixer, or charge phones without dragging cords across the kitchen. It’s a huge boost in efficiency. 🗄️ Storage (A Huge Win for Small Spaces) After downsizing from a large house to a small condo, storage is limited—so this island has been a lifesaver. Three drawers provide organized storage for utensils and cookware A side spice rack with guards keeps essentials accessible A towel bar adds everyday convenience The bottom cabinet, hidden behind sliding barn doors, includes adjustable shelves and handles a wide range of storage needs This piece alone has made a noticeable difference in decluttering my kitchen. 🎨 Design, Durability & Style The white cabinet paired with the walnut top is absolutely beautiful. The sliding barn doors and black metal mesh accents add just the right amount of character. While it is made of particle board, it feels solid and durable—especially if assembled carefully. One note: The drawer bottoms are made of thin particle board (which is expected at this price). I’m having a friend cut thin wood panels to reinforce them so they don’t sag over time. Even thick cardboard could help—creative folks may have even better solutions. The two-tone design works perfectly with my existing décor, which includes similar pieces like a coffee table and fireplace TV stand. This island is truly a chameleon, fitting effortlessly into styles ranging from modern and chic to country and farmhouse. 🛞 Mobility The island rolls smoothly on five industrial-grade swivel casters, .including a center wheel for added balance with heavy loads. Two locking casters keep it secure and stable when used for dining or prep. ✅ Final Thoughts If you’re looking for one piece of furniture that solves multiple kitchen problems—storage, prep space, dining, and charging—this White and Walnut kitchen island is an outstanding INEXPENSIVE investment. ... show more

Always wanted an island in my kitchen. This one is beautiful and fits perfectly. I did a lot of measuring to ensure this was would work for my space. I love the functionality. I don’t like the wheels so I did not install them. It is still easy to slide around without scratching the floor which is impressive because my floor scratches just by looking at it. This cart is quite nice for the price. While it is a compressed material, it is sturdy and looks great. One downside it is that there are a lot of pieces and is more involved to put together. While, completely doable, it took some time. I love the versatility and function it provides for our kitchen needs. I would definitely recommend as an additional piece in your kitchen. ... show more

Actually love the look Very pretty. Sturdy. Putting together wasn't as hard as most furniture. Only problem we had was the drawers. One was absolutely perfect the next we had trouble with but got it to work. The third will not close at 1 corner. Almost closes. Grandson took rails off adjusted now fits and closes. On the 2nd the slot the bottom of the drawer slides into was totally off. Too far over on one side which made it short on the other. We found a solution but someone needs to glance at these pieces before they leave the factory. At a glance we knew it was wrong. We fixed and it works. But it is beautiful and will be great addition to my kitchen. The plug is on the back left my outlet to plug is on the right. I will just turn it when using or plug directly into wall outlet. Not really a problem. Maybe should have plug come out in middle just a thought.I love it, my granddaughter who helped put together loves it. Very happy with my purchase ... show more

It been several months and I still like this island. The only thing I wish was the outlet would be on the side above the towel rack instead of the top. I use plug in covers to protect when not using the outlet but the USB port is open so I put tape over it when not in use. To be honest I don’t use the outlet very often at all so not a feature I really needed. The braces for the drop down are a little weak would recommend the manufacturer to strengthen them. I don’t put much weight on it and over time the gap has gotten wider. Since we have our up most of the time I am going to add reinforcement. Still looks new even though I use it daily for meal prep and service. Drawers won’t hold much, use it for utensils but need to make a custom organizer due to small size. Easy to assemble. Love the outlet/charger feature. Has 3 drawers and cabinet storage. We use this island in our outdoor living space. We have eaten on it, done arts and crafts on it and my daughter used it to do homework. My only complaint is, if you put too much weight on the folding hangover part, the whole thing can tip over. To secure it we put 2 cinder blocks in the cabinet space below. So far it hasn’t tipped over, but we’re also careful not to rest our elbows on it. Other than that, it’s a great buy. ... show more
