The oil tastes delicious, and we use olive oil in everything we cook. Olive oil keeps better if it is stored in something other than a clear container, and the green plastic works. The two large bottles last a while... I use a funnel to put the oil in a cruet, so it's easier to handle than the large bottle. Very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

Did a blind taste comparison of Kirkland's organic robust evoo vs two highly rated Italian evoos, very well regarded, that each cost three times as much as the Kirkland. To my great surprise, Kirkland was the winner, with a richer, fuller, more peppery flavor. Sometimes the more expensive option is only more expensive.

Ok, I'm not a huge fan or connoisseur of olive oil, I'm also cheap! I don't like spending tons of money on cooking oils. I just know what I like and what I don't like. I usually don't prefer olive oils for recipes or cooking because it adds too much of a flavor I don't care for. When I'm cooking, I don't want to taste the oil I use. I honestly never liked the grassiness, bitterness or other flavors that olive oil strongly imparted to my food. I want to taste my spices and seasonings, not be turned off by the oil. I tried some highly expensive olive oil for recipes to see what all the fuss was about. I actually really enjoyed that bottle. However, the brand I bought was not available to purchase again and I was disappointed. The small bottle went quickly and cost a good penny, so, I'm kind of glad it wasn't available at that time because I decided to purchase this and give it a go. I’m so happy I decided to try it. I love this olive oil!!! It's every bit as good as that expensive bottle. I'm glad I bought 2 huge bottles of this stuff. It's great. It's not overpowering but I feel as though it's healthier and I try to use it for many recipes. It would be great for homemade salad dressings without overpowering your herbs and vinegars. If you're an olive oil snob, I think you should try this just to compare. You might be surprised too!
