I decided to start taking care of my hair and getting to the “root” of the issue… the water! My parents have HARD water and my hair is a mess with it. Because of this contraption of a shower head (what I have the bag hanging from), I can’t install one of those water filtration shower heads instead so I found this shower bag and decided to fill it with distilled water to wash my hair. I only need to wash my hair twice a week now! No more build up and “dandruff”! But I won’t get into all that. This shower bag is perfect. I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now. It’s much bigger than I thought which is fine, not a complaint at all; the most I put in it is 3 gallons because thats all I need for a wash. The pressure is great and I have thick hair so that’s a big deal! I haven’t experienced any leaks and the nozzle/tube work as needed. I’ve seen people complain that you can’t empty it out all the way but I found that if you pinch the two sides back and tilt it forward a bit (as I have pictured), you can successfully get all of the water out. When I’m not using this for my hair, we take it to the beach with the family so we can rinse off at our van!

This is a great bag that holds 5 gallons of water and even boiling water. Easy carry handle. The only thing is I wish the tube was thicker so it didn’t bend so easily and stop the flow of water. I had to cut it short and let it hang like a regular shower head instead of me holding it and causing it to fold. But I loved it

I generally don’t do reviews, but this I could not in good conscience let go. I bought this and first time out it leaked around the hose fitting to the bag. I initiated a return and got a new item sent to me. What a fool I was for thinking it was a one-off defect and not checking the new one immediately. Anyway, I packed the new item and left for an extended van camp trip in warmer climes. When I finally got around to the shower, it leaked again, this time around the temp. sensor on the back of the bag. How is this possible? You would think it’s just an attachment to the outside of the bag. Ok, time for an on the fly fix. I bought some silicone and sealed around the leak. All good, no apparent leaks. What I found then was, it didn’t leak while hanging, but don’t for your life think you can transport it full, laying on the floor in the van. The seal around the filler cap is far from tight and it won’t be long before you have 5+ gallons of water sloshing around inside your vehicle. So, if you want to buy repair materials and you have ample water supply to fill where and when needed, this may work for you. If you want something reliable and secure, DO NOT BUY this product. It’s just more plastic going straight to the landfill. Happy trails :)

It’s OK, it should’ve came with a second screw to tighten both ends, and some directions on how to best hang it. The shower line is so long, that you would have to hang it several feet above your head. We took it camping, but didn’t have enough sun for the water to warm up, we were able to find a nail to hook it on and wash our hands. We may have better use of it on our next trip.
