It's just for my purse and for quick checks or touch ups. It's nice and light, which is ideal. I feel like sometimes my purse gets too heavy with too much heavy stuff in it anyway, so the size and weight is perfect. It charged very quickly, it might have already been partially charged. But I know everything needs to be fully charged prior to use, so that's what I did. The magnification is a huge help, because my vision isn't great and I don't want to have to pull out my glasses just to check my makeup. If I were to change anything, I would just make it a little brighter. This might be perfect brightness for many, but since my vision isn't great, a little extra light would really help me. I've seen enough of these to even review before my wife or daughter sees it. We have a nice form factor, low weight, USB-C charge, and a clean simple design. Three color tones to match the environment and your skin tone. Here is what I don't like. Having lights on both sides is a world of difference. The light is on the 3x magnification side, so they got it right there. The compact is a bit flimsy when open and doesn't stay where you want. You have to cup it in your hand. The controls are simple but I think it could be a bit brighter. I would spend a few more dollars and get some more features. If this is your first lit compact then you will probably like it anyway. ... show more

I love that this mirror has two different magnifications (1x and 3x) as well as three light settings. It remembers your setting when you close and open the mirror, which is nice. It's a great size and fits well in my small purse. One star off for the placement of the light. The light is on the 3x mirror which makes using the 1x mirror a bit wonky because you're only getting up lighting not straight-on lighting (like you would when using the 3x mirror or a regular make up mirror). I got these both in cyan and black. They're awesome! I have one in my backpack purse and then another one in my workbag. I love that it has two different magnifying sides and the best part is that it lights up. It's very thin and portable and also is rechargeable, so that really drew me in. It uses usb-c which is nice because I own a lot of products with the same charger cable, so no need to drag around multiple different cables. The only downside is only one side of the mirror lights up and not the whole thing, that's about the only thing I'd change on this product. The good news is that you don't have to worry about shutting off the light and when you close the mirror it'll automatically shut off. I would definitely recommend these and they seem like they're a good price for what they're at now. ... show more
