This chair is simple to assemble. It is sturdy and matches my conversation sofa set. The ottoman stows away under the chair with no problem. It's so cute and suits my needs. I did use my own tools rather than the ones provided. That made for quicker assembly .

    • NOT the wrong nuts!

Many reviewers state the nuts are wrong and won't go on the bolts. Actually, that's exactly the way it is designed. The nuts DO fit the bolts but they have to be tightened with a proper wrench - the one supplied is a joke. When the nut stops after finger tightening, get out the wrench. These nuts are designed this way to ensure the parts don't move once tightened. It takes a little elbow grease and a bit more time but the result is worth it. This is a very sturdy and comfortable chair. And it looks great too. Well worth the money. ... show more

I like the chair and the cushions are nice. The company send me the wrong nuts to tighten the screws with. I had to go to the hardware store to buy the correct ones. Other than that, its fine.

I ordered this chair & ottoman to add to the grouping set I purchased earlier from the same seller because I was so pleased with the set. Straight out of the box there was a problem. I was missing a significant piece of the ottoman rendering it useless. I contacted the seller right away and was pleasantly surprised by the promptness of their reply. They were quick to resolve the issue by sending a replacement piece. While waiting for the the ottoman piece, I put the chair together & was so happy with how comfortable it was! Once the ottoman piece arrived, not only was my set complete but the chair became even more comfortable 🤗. I'm very happy with the furniture and the customer service. Yes, it can be a bit tricky and time consuming to put together but well worth the time & effort. Yes the cushions are a bit on the thin side but not uncomfortable. And replacing custions at the end of the season can be affordable & allows for change. ... show more

I hesitated on buying this due to the reviews saying how difficult it was to assemble... I wish I hadn’t. It was not difficult if you can follow instructions and have some simple tools. As a single woman, have a very modest set of tools and it only took me a little over an hour to assemble. I would suggest using a small wrench instead of the one included. I also used my small drill with an Alan wrench bit for the feet and ottoman. I found it easier to assemble on its side also. I am no handyman and if a handy man had so much trouble with assembly he should be fired! Lol. ... show more
