I purchased this to fill the space between the driveway and the garage floor. I had a felt expansion spacer previously and over the years it had deteriorated and the crack filled with all manner of leaves and debris. I have been staring at this for years, and thinking I would have to fill with foam tube and GE Silicon, like I have seen in other garage installs. But someone mentioned that this product was available and it looked like the best solution. I read a review that said to measure the width of the joint and ensure you get the right size. I agree with the reviewers that if your joint is 1/8 inch larger than a standard size, get the larger one. In my case, the joint width was 3/4 inch, so I ordered a 25 ft length, needing about 18 feet for use. It worked perfectly and installed in 30 minutes of cleaning the joint and pressing it in. It looks great and looks like it will last 20 years or more. We will see if it holds up.

Easy to install. Very flexible and keeps the weeds from growing in the driveway expansion joint. Only negative is the car tires leave marks on the expansion joint. However, I am satisfied with the function of this expansion joint filler. I recommend this product.

I hate it when the board in the driveway expansion joint just deteriorates enough to let weeds start growing in the crack. I was so tired of spending my time each week pulling these weeds. Yes, I sprayed but they come back or new some start. So I got this after mulling it over for a while because of the price. I used a crevice tool to remove some dirt and this slid right in with ease. So far so good, no weeds yet and it's been 3 weeks now. One thing I kinda don't like is that the car tires leave marks on it.

Had large uneven joint infront of garage door. Bought diamond grinding wheel for my small Dewalt hand grinder and evened out some. The gap varied from 3/4 " to 7/8"'. I bought the 3/4". It laid in the joint fairly even but the 7/8" area was a little loose. Unrolling coil will take some summer heat and time for strip to settle in better. Tried a couple of times to use pourable caulk. It took about a gallon and never did last very long. I think this will be much better and last longer. Looks good and matches concrete color. I think long term it will be better/OK. Add onto this reveiw after hot weather: it settled in nicely and would buy again!

Product discolored from a nice light grey into a nasty old looking stained beige when exposed to summer temperatures and sunlight. It's a very expensive product with horrible quality, we just installed this 2 months ago. I would never buy this again or recommend it to anyone. This is for outdoor use, but doesn't stand up to outdoors and we live in the PNW, not even super hot like in other areas of the US. Of course, there is no refund, since we had it installed past the 30 days return window.
