I met a co-worker who had a similar version to this and I had to get one for myself to take on camping trips. This has got to be the greatest camp chair I have ever owned. PROS: 1. It's super easy to put together. It also fits nicely in it's storage case. I don't have to force it. 2. Laying down and sitting the seat up are easy and don't require that you stand up. During our camping trips I could easily put the chair in to a laying position, then lay back and comfortably watch the stars and meteor showers for hours under a blanket with no neck or back pain! 3. The pins that secure the base are frankly a comfort. I could move the chair all over the place and know that it wouldn't accidentally fold up and injure me. 4. The moveable feet are great on uneven ground. I was able to set it up and sit on the following types of ground with no issues : sandy, rocky, hilly/incline, bumpy, uneven. When place on uneven ground, the chair will be inclined to be a bit more wobbly, but that does not mean it's totally unstable. More care must be given though to ensure that despite being slightly wobbly that you won't fall over. 5. The seat is super large. There was plenty of room for additional visitors like children and animals to sit comfortable in the seat with me. 6. 2 cup holders! I can store so much stuff in them and keep the seat empty. CONS: 1. The seat is made out of a mesh, canvas and other materials. It's not super breathable. In the summer heat, your buns will sweat due to less circulations. 2. At least one of the cup holders could be a little bigger. I tend to hold the following in both of mine: A drink, A5 journal, Pencils, Kindle Paperwhite, bug spray, chapstick , a flashlight and occasionally a set of keys. If one of the holders was a little bigger the paperwhite and the journal could fit a little better. 3. I wish the cup holders could be moved to the other side of the chair. I'm left-handed and they are on the wrong side for me. 4. I purchased the footrest with this model and I'm kind of up in the air about it. I really like using it as it takes the relaxation to another level for me. But the foot rest is easy pulled out of the pockets as there is no was to lock them in. If I stretch my feet too hard (which is a lot) the metal poles pop right out of the pockets on the seat. The rubber stoppers on the metal poles also pop off everytime I take it apart or if the poles fall out of the seat. I've spent at least 1 or more times searching for those silly stoppers during every camp trip this summer. I'm not sure what the right solution is to fix or modify this, but I hope they find a solution soon because it significantly detracted from my chair lounging enjoyment. Despite a few quirks, this is a fabulous chair and I'm so glad I splurged and purchased it!

These are good but the foot rest pop out too easy when trying to use it and they suck to get into with the footrest on. Also the way the chair fits on is fine but comes apart too easy when you move it It is comfy but as a 6 foot person I found the foot rest isn’t far enough out for good comfort. Sets up super easy though and I liked that.

I usually hate camping chairs—they're a necessity rather than a comfort. I much prefer my ENO hammock, but it's not always practical. When I discovered the hammock camping chair, I hesitated due to the steep price. However, after just one day of use, I'd buy it all over again. This chair is incredibly comfortable and easy to set up. Adjusting it to lay flatter or sit more upright is a breeze. If you're on the fence about getting the footrest, do it. It makes a significant difference in comfort. One thing to note is that this chair is heavier than typical camping chairs, so if weight is a concern, be aware that it weighs a few pounds more. Also, make sure to place the locking pins on the correct side of the bar; otherwise, you'll quickly learn the hard way. Pros: - Super comfortable: Provides excellent support and comfort, making it a great alternative to traditional camping chairs. - Easy setup: Quick and straightforward to assemble, perfect for outdoor adventures. - Adjustable positions: Easily adjusts to lay more flat or sit more upright to suit your comfort needs. - Footrest option: Highly recommend getting the footrest for added comfort. - Sturdy design: Robust and well-built, ensuring durability for long-term use. For those of you considering this chair, let me paint you a picture. It's not a chair; it's a trap, and I am its latest, most ungracefully defeated victim. The listing promises "premium relaxation," but what it delivers is a first-class ticket to the concrete patio, complete with a complimentary, full-body chair hug. I've had this thing for less than a year, which is apparently a record since it decided to stage a dramatic coup against my sense of balance today. The right-side strap, clearly tired of its mundane existence, tore with the authority of a cheap superhero cape, ripping the seam and catapulting me backward in a stunning display of slapstick comedy. It was a one-act play where the star (me) was thrown to the ground and the antagonist (the chair) landed directly on top of me, adding insult to injury. My shoulder is now in a state of civil unrest. It's a protest movement led by a deep, throbbing ache, all thanks to this patio furniture from heck. And just so we're clear: this isn't a weight-related issue. I am a perfectly average human, well within the manufacturer's suggested limits. The issue is simply that this chair is a cardboard box in disguise. I should have known better, especially since I was already browsing for a replacement—a new patio chair to replace the old one that had the audacity to still be in one piece. So, if you value your spine, your pride, or your ability to sit without the risk of a surprise floor inspection, please save your money. Do not buy this chair. It's a ticking time bomb of disappointment, and you'll end up looking ridiculous as you're conquered by a piece of metal and fabric.

For the price it should be better. I agree with all the people who say the seat should be deeper and the foot rest is pretty much useless. I’m 5’9” and I can’t use the foot rest without tipping forward. I also feel like I’m sliding forward in the seat. I love the rocking mechanism, but I think I’ll return the chair and get a less expensive one without the foot rest since I can’t really use it anyway. Update: I’m returning this chair. I ordered the Timber Ridge hammock chair without a footrest and it is much more comfortable! I don’t feel like I’m sliding out of it at all
