I saw several people using these at a ball game and asked to have a try. I was instantly hooked and fought through low cell phone bars right then to order my own. I do have low back issues, and this isn’t exactly ideal, but the head support and swinging feature seems to override that for me. I’m 5’5” and can touch the ground. It’s also lightweight enough for me to haul to a distant field from where I am able to park. Not easily, but much better than other folding chairs have been. I’m 68 and have arthritis, so take that with a grain of salt. The quality seems fine, but I have only used it once so far. Those being used by others were being pretty aggressively rocked by kids and they appeared to be in good shape after a lot of evident use. I tend to take really good care of things so I’m hoping this will last, at least until my last grandchild graduates. ... show more

This chair is very sturdy. We basically keep it outside everyday and it withstands thunderstorms, wind, and the hot hot sun. The ONLY problem I have with it is that the rods holding up the back of the chair break through the top very easily, and it's an easy fix if you know how to sew it back together. It should have better reenforcement in that area for a better product quality overall. Mine did break recently after a year or so of having the chair, but the customer service of KingCamp made the process extremely easy and convenient to replace the broken parts. Had these camping chairs for months now. The sturdiness is great. Elderly family members have sat in them with no problem getting in or out. The size works perfectly for me. Total POS and company doesn't even stand behind it. Do not buy this. Thing tore apart the first time I tried to sit in it. I'm a hefty man but I do not weigh anywhere close to 440lbs. I did not sit down roughly or anything, it's legitimately just not sturdy enough to support anywhere near what is claimed. I informed the company in hopes that maybe I just got a bad unit and they were interested in evaluating the failure. After a week or so, they asked me send them a hundred pictures showing the issue, which I did within a day or two. A few days after that I got an email that stated that they wanted to send me a new chair rather than issuing the refund that I asked for through Amazon. No chair ever came. A month or so later I responded to the same email chain again where they said they would send me a new chair asking where it was. They repeated the same statement that they wanted to send me another chair but actually asked for my address this time. I provided that and here we are a few months later and I still have not chair and no refund. Do not take the risk on this.
